Customers are saying

Customers find value in the updated graphics and portability of Ultra Street Fighter II: The Final Challengers, along with the inclusion of new characters and the fun, classic gameplay. However, some feel the price point is too high for the amount of content offered, and a few have noted challenges with the controls. The art style also received mixed feedback.

It takes me back to old days of Super Street Fighter II days. Graphics was sharpened but for $40 is kinda high given that it's an old game and nothing new was added. I don't count the first person view of RYU.

Great game, easy to pick up but hard to master. Virtually the same game as 20 years ago though so $40 is a little pricy for what you get. Expect some hand cramps if you play vs with only 1 joycon!

I don’t know why I keep buying this game. Price is high but that’s Capcom. GreT graphics and the three new characters are slight mods to existing but still enjoys playing them.

If you enjoy playing the classic Street Fighter games, then you will have fun with this edition for the Nintendo Switch. Game play is smooth, but the small buttons of the Switch do make pulling off some combinations difficult. The Pro Controller is definitely preferable for the best experience.

Classic arcade street fighter exactly what I expected. The controls in the way of the haduken could be more precise but that mode is a total workout. A video game that's active. Win!

If you've never bought any version of Street Fighter II, looking to upgrade, or are new then this version is recommended since it includes the most complete and balanced version and roster of SFII to date. Being able to switch between graphic/sound styles as well as edit custom colors are a nice touch. The bonus Way of Hadou can be a mixed bag though and excluding Tournament mode as well as the classic bonus levels (ie: car, brick, barrel smashing) seem like head-scratchers. The inclusion of the 20th anniversary artbook is nice though so there isn't much to complain about as well as Online modes for those pining to be the ultimate World Warrior.

I've been playing street fighter forever. To see the final version of Street Fighter 2 decades later is amazing! Remade in HD and portable for the Nintendo switch is cool.

I love the new graphics and two new characters on top of a beloved classic fighting game. You can also switch to the old graphics and sounds from way back when as well!

This game has taken a lot of flac due to it being expensive and yes, it's a little expensive but it's a great version of this classic. You won't regret this purchase

If you're a Street Fighter fan this plays great and all. Whether it's worth the $40 is up to you though. It's the best version of SFII, but not by that much

This is basically Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo HD with Evil Ryu and Evil Ken. If you like Street Fighter you will like this one. If you are a casual player This may be consider Another cash grab From Capcom. This version of street fighter 2 gets rid of the pixelated graphics and makes it smoother.

Like the title says it's street fighter. It's a classic and now you are able to take it with you and enjoy the arcade style gaming in the palm of your hands. There's no gimmicks and no high tech going on here it's good old classic arcade fighting.

I debated between this and the 30th Anniv. Collection. As I researched more info the differences, I found the 30th Anniv. Edition is more like a direct port of the arcade versions, while this is an updated version of the console version. I started on SNES with SSF2, so I believe this eas the better choice for me. I'm sure the other game is good too.

As soon as I heard about this game i just had to pick it up and I am glad I did. The gameplay is as sharp and responsive as the original as well as I enjoyed how you change between old school graphics to new graphics. There is a mode to where you are Ryu and use motion controls to pas through short events. It is actual very enjoyable as long as you practice the movements first. I really enjoyed performing the movements to make Ryu perform their attacks. I would recommend this game to anyone who loved the series and wanted to see where it all started from.

I wish there was still physical copies available of this game because I'm a collector and it's the only reason this isn't getting 5 stars. I wasn't too sure if I should buy this at first due to having so many SF2 copies but after watching I gave it a go and I was glad I got it. I actually found myself playing this more than the anniversary edition. The upgraded graphics didn't seem like a big deal but I ended up loving it alot

Street Fighter never gets old. I love this version for the Nintendo Switch. I esp love the 2 player co-op mode. This game is still challenging but you need to play it with a Pro controller, then you will truly enjoy it and hours will pass.
