I don’t have the ring yet so I can’t say how accurate the sample colors are, but there are 5 variations of silver, black and gold to choose from. It's pretty high class for a sizing kit. Even the ring sample colors look classy. The rings are substantial plastic and not cardboard rings. They can be worn for several days while determining the optimal finger/size by doing various activities. The only change I might make is to offer half sizes. Choosing a size isn’t as simple as it might seem. I have small hands, but big knuckles. Since it’s a ring, I started with my ring finger. Size 5 fit snuggly once on, but it was very hard to get off. I assume the ring is going to have to be taken off regularly to charge it, so that wasn’t a good option. Size 6 was better, but it spun around when on and I needed hand lotion to get it off. I tried a size 7 on my middle finger of both hands, but that was too bulky and made it hard to use the mouse when on the right hand. It was also hard to get off. I kept changing my mind, which is why it really is important to take a couple of days to decide on the finger and size. This is a good range. It needs to be so I could choose which finger to use for the ring and ensure that I could get the right sizing ring for the finger. Size 10 fits the finger that I want to use. I have medium sized hands and the 10 fit well. It needs to fit without any gaps/space between the finger and the inner part of the ring. The sizing rings also have a part of it that protrudes inward which will represent the sensor that would be on the actual ring. Each ring slot in the box is clearly marked. Ideally, these bands would include half sizes, but since a snug fit is required, sizing down was the logical choice. The rings are overall very light, and the material is a soft, but sturdy silicone material. I imagine the actual ring will be similar in weight. One thing I would love to see if a rose gold color. My wife became very interested in these rings once we started reading about them, but was disappointed that these don’t really offer very feminine colors. I would probably have picked the rose gold myself, but I settled with silver, because it looks the most authentic in the same color display. However, I wished the whole kit, including the sizing rings, were compostable. Hopefully, Ultrahuman will be able to incorporate this idea in future sizing ring kits. This is a great sizing kit. I have never been able to accurately measure my fingers for rings. I recently purchased an expensive, personalized ring (non-returnable). It arrived and was too big. Big is better than too small and I was able to purchase a kit to make it fit better This ring sizer recommends trying a size on the finger you want to wear your Ultra Human ring for at least 2 nights. I am so glad I followed this recommendation. I originally leaned towards a larger size and the size I settled on at first didn't seem to even fit my finger. After retrying the smaller size and wearing it overnight, I realized the smaller size is perfect! I will be sure to measure all my fingers from now on In these days when most jewelry is ordered online, it is nice to know I can get the accurate size. The rings in this kit are only whole sizes so if you need a half size, this will help but you may not be 100% sure. Overall, these are a great way to be sure an expensive ring will fit accurately.
