I went with titanium because it’s sleek and sturdy, but the others might catch your eye if you want something bolder.The design is honestly great. It’s super lightweight, so I barely notice it on my finger, which is perfect since I wear it all day and night. The titanium feels solid, and the smooth inside means it’s comfortable no matter what I’m up to—working, exercising, or sleeping. It’s waterproof up to 100 meters, too, so you can wear it in the shower or pool with no problem. What makes this ring stand out is how much data it gives you. I don't sleep well so the sleep tracking is my favorite—it shows how long I slept, breaks down stages like deep and REM, and gives a score for quality. It’s helped me tweak things, like cutting down on late-night phone time to sleep better. The activity tracking keeps up with steps and workouts, which is nice for seeing how much I’m moving. It’s not as detailed as a my Garmin Fenix watch, but it’s enough to keep me aware. The recovery score is another cool feature—it uses heart rate variability and other stats to tell me how ready my body is for the day. I check it to decide if I should push hard or take it easy. It also tracks stress and body temperature, which give extra context about how I’m doing, though I don’t dive into those as often. The app is where you'll see the ton of data points it tracks. It's is easy to use, with clear graphs and scores for heart rate, sleep, as well as things like skin temperature changes, heart rate variability, resting heart rate and more. It can feel like a lot at first, but you get the hang of it quickly. No subscription fee is a big plus—you buy the ring, and all the data’s yours, though there are some extras that you can add, some free and some paid. The vast majority of the tracking data is free though. Battery life is solid, lasting about four days, and it charges in a couple of hours. I usually pop it on the charger while I’m showering or while I'm working at my desk. You can also link it to other apps, such as Garmin Connect to link your fitness tracking to it. Overall, the Ultrahuman Ring Air is a powerful tool that gives you a lot of feedback in the same way as larger watches and fitness bands/trackers. It’s comfy, and the titanium looks nice. With the other finishes available, there’s something for everyone. If you want a simple way to track sleep, activity, and recovery without a bulky device, this is a great pick. It’s giving me a a lot of good data and insights into my sleeping habits and sleep quality and I'm looking forward to utilizing the data and feedback to hopefully help me get some better sleep. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone curious about their health data, especially if you don't want to invest in a bigger, usually more expensive watch/fitness tracker.

Sometimes purchases are (or should be) very easy decisions. IF you're looking to buy a health monitoring ring from Ultrahuman, this AIR ring sizing kit is really one of those decisions. First, if you do end up buying the Ring AIR, it's functionally free as the cost of the sizing kit credited towards your purchase of the ring itelf. Second, the sizing kit allows you to try on the rings in the comfort of your home at YOUR pace to see what size really fits well and (most importantly) stays in place. Third, you also get a nice set of color watches to see the true color and sheen of the different ring material options before you buy. So there are three good reasons that you should pick up this kit. It's really a good deal all around - you get the right sized ring the first time and Ultrahuman receives fewer returns (which is also better for the environment with less back and forth shipping). The fourth and final reason is that if you're going to invest in a health monitoring ring, you REALLY need to make sure that you're ok with wearing a ring 24/7 - becaues if you don't wear it 24/7, you're not going to get the best results out of it (many people take rings and watches off to sleep, for example, but if you take this one off to sleep, you won't get accurate results in sleep monitoring and other things). So find the one that fits, then (as the package suggests) wear it for 48 hours straight not just to check the fit, but to make sure that you WILL wear the ring that you ultimately get. Undecided at 48 hours? Try another 24, 48 or 72 - that's the freedom this kit gives you. The rings in this kit are made of a hard plastic to emulate the hard metal the ultimate ring will be made of - the kit should be fully recyclable (or can be passed on to another person looking to size their rings, though they won't get the purchase credit of course). And the kit is clearly laid out with nice instructions - I do like that the ring size is printed on both the cardboard tray AND on the rings themselves so you can clearly tell which is which. So if you're looking to pick up an Ultrahuman Ring AIR - or if you just want to see if a health monitoring ring is for you in the first place - this kit is an easy decision to make. I’ve never used a sizing kit before but I’ve never ordered a ring, digital or traditional, either. It makes sense, but I wasn’t sure what to expect. This kit came in a very impressive packaging. A smartly designed box that is recycled and sturdy. It comes with a multitude of sizes which threw me for a loop. They’re fixed solidly into the packaging so nothing falls from the indicator. And there’s an instruction packet inside about sharing the box instead of throwing it away. Like I said, this thing comes with more sizes than I knew existed. So if you can’t find one that fits I don’t know what your fingers are. An interesting note, my actual rings sure size 12 and this has me at an 11 so don’t take your other ring sizes for granted. Take the test. The bands are plastic, not metal but they do notches to fully simulate the actual ring. They’re also engraved or embossed with the size so you don’t have to keep track of which spot it came out of in the box. They tell you to wear it for two days to make sure it fits for the whole time period and to make sure it doesn’t spin easily. I quickly forgot I was wearing it to be honest. It’s a little too light compared to my actual rings but that just gives it an odd feeling at first. No major issues. It also comes with samples of the actual metal of the things so when you order you know what you’re getting and won’t be unpleasantly surprised. That alone is worth the price of test sizing kit. It’s a simple thing, but I understand the point and agree with it for such a personal thing as a ring. This one is well designed and intends to cover all possibilities. If you’re looking to get a smart ring, definitely order the sizing kit first.

Being able to try on a variety of sizes of the Ultrahuman Ring Air in the comfort of your own home (or gym, work, travel, etc) prior to trying to buy the actual smart ring makes a lot of sense! I personally rarely, if ever, wear rings, so having a variety of sizes in one box and being able to try multiple sizes in a variety of conditions made selecting the most accurate size of the smart ring much easier than had I just guessed. I was able to try a few different sizes each for a couple of nights (Ultrahuman's recommendation is to wear the demo ring for at least 2 nights to ensure the correct size), and since I initially assumed the incorrect size I would need to start with, not having to wait for a different size to be shipped was super helpful! I also was able to try wearing the ring samples on different fingers (thus needing different sizes) to determine which of my fingers would feel the most comfortable with the ring on it. I also like that the demo rings/sizer even has a mock sensor built into the ring so you don't get the legit ring and then it suddenly doesn't fit because the sensor's presence wasn't taken into consideration in the sizer. The icing on the cake? There's a QR code included in the package to use to get $10 off the purchase of your Ultrahuman Ring Air from Best Buy, so you basically get your money back from purchasing this sizer kit!

The ring sizing kit is great! The entire experience feels very premium. I like having the cheap replica rings and they were all great and giving a real feel to how an Ultrahuman Ring AIR will feel on my different fingers. Having the full sizing array in one kit means that both my wife and I could try out different sizes appropriate for our different fingers. This is contoured to be similar to the real fit: that includes the raised area on the inside where the sensors sit and the ultimate thickness of the ring itself: it isn't just about what size you should get, its about how this ring will fit and what finger will make the most sense for you as you wear it. My wife found that overall the thickness of the ring made it difficult for her to wear, while I tried a couple different sizes on different hands and fingers across sports as I coach and play softball, basketball, mountain bike and do yard work. Understanding if it would be comfortable day to day was the ultimate satisfaction that made me ready to commit. The color swatches inside are also super helpful as I ultimately picked a slightly different color then I was originally thinking since I could hold it against my watch, wedding ring and other accessories to see how it complimented.

It's a very straightforward process to use the kit for selecting your ring size and color. The nice thing about this model is the additional sizes - more than the ones available for the other ring I've been using. With that one, I had to go with the largest size, none of the smaller ones would fit. This product has two sizes larger than the one I need, so if you have larger hands, you might need this option. You should definitely do the two-night test they recommend, because your fingers might swell or shrink, and you need to ensure your selection is not too big or small to accommodate those changes. It's also nice that they have samples of the ring colors included. It's much better seeing them in person, and you can hold the samples up to other jewelry or watches you like to wear to see how they go together. I ended up picking a color that might not have been my choice if I had only seen pictures online. It's also nice that the packaging is made out of sustainable materials. The only problem I had was getting the rings in the top row out. They were very snug in the packaging, but I managed to get them out without having to pry them out.

Verdict: Nice sizing kit that provides an accurate feel of sizing, color, and finish. Very nice idea. In theory, I know my ring size, but I feel much better making the investment of purchasing the Ultrahuman ring if I know exactly how it will fit and how it will look. Things I love: - Sample colors help to decide best option - Samples also help to visualize the finish - Enough sizes to find the right fit - Eco conscious - made from recycled material - Affordable kit - Easy instructions - QR code for ordering Things I don’t love: - I think I would have liked a half-size to fit just right on the finger I wanted, but I will use the ring on a different finger - I wish I could try the rings with the actual finish, but that would not be cost effective, so I understand - To maximize eco-consciousness, the kit should come with a prepaid label to return this to the manufacturer so it can be reused. Otherwise, it will just end up in a landfill Definitely worthwhile to make sure you purchase the best ring for you. Trying on the rings has also built the anticipation and excitement for the actual ring. Can’t wait!

Sizes range from 05 to 13, and the instructions explicitly state to try the ring on for a full two days before selecting your final sizing. Makes a lot of sense sense your finger can swell during activity or depending on your diet. The sample rings are a flat black polymer material, which helps approximate what the actual rings will feel like and look like on your hand. Also, the black color is unobtrusive and doesn’t stand out while you are trialing the size out. There is an insert with samples of each color/texture option, which also takes the guesswork out of looking at an online image.
