    This game was quite the surprise. The art design is the first thing you'll notice for better or for worse. The more pessimistic of you may think this game is all visuals and no substance. I can relate as well as those were my thoughts. But I'm happy to report the game is very competent. It feels great to control and flows very well as you move about and engage in combat. The visuals to me are if Pink Floyd and Tool album covers got together and had a baby, this would be it. If you're looking for something in the realm of 2d side scrolling in a colorful saturated sci-fi world, structured as a metroid game and steps away from the more leveled medieval or Gothic London esthetic, this might be just what you're looking for.
