Customers are saying

Customers recognize the Model One E500's lightweight design and excellent build quality as significant advantages, frequently praising its ease of folding and powerful performance. However, concerns have been raised regarding the battery life, which some users find insufficient, and the scooter's stability on uneven surfaces. Despite some reservations about the price, many appreciate the scooter's braking system and overall riding experience.

Heres whats good : nicely packaged . Its pretty reliable. The dual motors gets you going pretty fast and good. The bad: It doesnt last long. I can only do a feww trips on uber eats and the. Its dead. Today it died on me vut it was on 3 bars and then none. That was bad. The dual motors consumes the batteries wo much. I dont like that the bottom gets so dirty fast Battery is a huge issue for me. Dead before you knowit. It gets so slow going up hills. with onlyone week ofuse its already taken a beating, My handlebar arrived deffective. The holes are in the wrong place so I can't even screw on the handlebar correctly. Overall, it's solid but not worth the priCe in my opinion.I don't recommend. I (kind Of regret buying. For reference, I originally had the 350 and the motor just stopped working randomly. I'm worries that the same thing will happen to this one. Also I contacted customer supportbecause the handle bar was badly made. For reference I am 22O pounds I don't know if that's thereason that it doesn't go up to to mph but rather just 16 .

This particular scooter has never been sold for less than a dollars. The fact that it has dual motors proves that not only is the 21 MPH a reality, but a consistency. In addition, as this is my first dual motor scooter purchase, its ability to ascend streets at a 20 plus percent grade is impressive to say the least. To its detriment, the tires in my opinion are too small and and he even though one never can experience a puncture tire, when riding on it, you feel every bump on the on the road. The folding mechanism is one I have never seen before, And again the fact that it is dual motor and it can be and can be folded in 5 seconds and carried with no effort is remarkable. There is no bluetooth function and realistically there's no space for a cell phone holder, but outside of that it is a remarkable product.

This scooter looks great and pretty fast for its size. I enjoyed it alot for a short commute. My commute is less than 1 mile/day, 2-3 days a week. Today marked 1 year 2 months since I purchased it and the battery is already not holding up. I charged it to full this morning and the battery already dropped to 3 out of 5 bars for a 0.2 miles trip.

Great Scooter. Bought it for my wife as she didn't like the big and bulky scooter for her size. This is easier for her to carry around and lift it into the car. The scooter is fast, good build quality, and light. Wife calls it the Tesla of Scooter, cause it ain't cheap ~~

Scooter arrived missing half its hardware. The handlebar requires four bolts, they only sent two. Their website states that if you can’t find all the bolts, they probably got shifted around in the box in shipping. Check the box, that indent in the Styrofoam, where I pulled the two out of were the only ones That have had the little screw inserted into them. Whoever packaged this new, it only had two screws. That doesn’t sit right with me as they advertise refurbishing these in California to a higher, standard, along with claiming to be the apple of scooters… battery is not in like new condition anymore, charger never lights up green when charging to show fully charged even though the dashboard display on the scooter shows a full battery. The post wobbles, and the back wheel squeaks… I think I would enjoy this product a lot more if it arrived in an actual refurbish condition as they claimed. This looks like it’s been sent out and sent back to them by more than a handful of people. I love the design. The electronic breaking is actually stronger than the mechanical break on my ninebot Max G 30.. and this one is on me, but I didn’t realize until looking into it further that this is the model that doesn’t connect to an app so there’s no way to lock it or see it’s live battery range estimate

I do like the scooter if everything works properly. The first one i had got replaced under manufacturer warranty after 9 miles for a faulty front motor. The replacement worked great for 500 miles until the deck cracked. Now bestbuy replaced it. So now I'm on number 2 within two years. For the money i wouldn't purchase it again. But for the features to me i travel on the bus back and forth from NJ to NYC is awesome. How fast and easy it folds and unfolds, the amount of torque it has, and how light it is were the swelling points for me. There aren't any other scooters out there that meet that criteria.

The prettyness of the scooter comes at a cost. Unfortunately the cons outweighed the pros. Returned the scooter. Pros: - Super sleek looking - Nice acceleration - Good electronic braking - Quiet motor Cons: - Glitchy display. Sometimes the battery meter would blank out. The trip meter read 6,123 miles and could not reset. - Battery life. There's no way this can go the advertised mileage on a single charge if you're on the third gear. - CREAKS. the stem creaks almost violently. There is 'give' to this scooter as you pull the handlebars back or forward during natural use. Other reviewers have had this problem. But it's almost embarrassing as you ride. - No shock absorption (!!) you will feel EVERY bump in the road. Very uncomfortable ride, and it's scary to hit any sized divot. On the second week, after hitting a (small) pothole in the road here in nyc, the lack of shock absorption ultimately broke the steering mechanism. I couldn't turn the scooter without it pulling aggressively to the left or right. I'm surprised to see people not talking about this... I wanted to like the scooter, but for $1K, not CLOSE to being worth it. There are better scooters for less than half the price.

I am a Best Buy employee and had the opportunity to test the Unagi Model One electric scooter. In my opinion this is the best electric scooter I've ever ridden. It's an incredibly smooth ride and this scooter also has great response when using the throttle or brake. It maintains a consistent speed whether you’re riding on flat ground or going up a hill. I’ve been able to get it up to 16 MPH and have been impressed with the battery life and distance you can go on a single charge. It also has a good headlight and tail light for safe riding at night. Overall, this is a great scooter and would definitely recommend.

The permanent grin on your face while you hit the throttle and feel the instant acceleration of the dual wheel 250w motors (500w total=theoretical 1000w max performance) is well worth the price of admission. The e-brakes are smooth and gradual and are probably the best brakes I've used on an e-scooter. Build quality, fit, and finish are top notch! Ride quality suffers compared to e-scooters with pneumatic air-filled tires but you'll never have to worry about flats. If you've got smooth, paved roads to ride on then this is definitely the e-scooter to own.
