I read many reviews and lots of people said they did not work great. I have had zero problems. I wanted outdoor rated color changing lights and they work for what I wanted. I have HUE lights in my interior and they work great too but not rated for outdoor use. You can set the default color of the light so when you turn it on that is what you get. So my plan is to set some holiday scenes up and then change them after to the next holiday.

i also have philips hue but like this bulb just as much no need for a hub just connects to bluetooth good deal for the price

I really like this bulb, I got two of them, they work very well, but the app is a little clunky. Difficult to navigate.

Summary says it all: the iLumi app is awful. Think twice before buying. Only do so if you have lots of patience with an app that is ill-conceived, non-intuitive and sometimes just plain does not work. Also have HUE and it is much better. Gave a two only because the lights themselves are good quality.

Works as advertised, just wish you could use remotely. You have to be within 15 ft to use smart phone controls.

Easy to install and easy to use. Can set any color to default for when it's turned on with a switch.

This item works very well and hope it lasts for a long time. Everyone should own one to see how it works.

We have a different common lighting system, but they don't make an outdoor bulb. I wanted one for the breezeway at our backdoor for the winter when it's dark, we get home, and we forgot to turn on the light. So far, this lightbulb doesn't have any of the functionality I would like. Our other system can be set to turn on when we arrive home after dark. This does not currently have that ability. It is also not compatible with Amazon Echo, or IFTT from what I can tell. Looks like they've been saying compatibility is in the works for a long time. I hope it happens before winter comes again, or else this will be next to useless. We will have to pull out our phones each time we get home in the dark to turn on the light, rather than it being automatic.

The app and set up can be a little frustrating, but the bulbs work great.

At the time this was the only outdoor smart bulb. I have two and they work okay. Drops from Bluetooth semi frequently which is annoying. Also-range not great. You have to be in view to change light setting. Wish they’d update to be more like lifx

Very easy to install. The program options are nice. The big draw for me was the ability to use it with Spotify, and it just didn't work for me. The problem is, you have to use Spotify within the Ilumi app, and it just doesn't work.

Bulb works great. The app is very primitive. Could use some functions to make a light show other than just a solid color. Otherwise is a good product. I was looking for an outdoor LED flood and this is the only one that I found.

I love this product, it was easy to install and the feature to the phone works great even why I am inside and the lights are on the far side of my yard. The preprogramed light shows are very cool. I have purchased 12 extra since these may go obsolete.

I first bought this light for my front porch but ended up getting a security camera that required a different style light...I've moved it to my bathroom above my bathtub and it works much better (since it is only Bluetooth)..I was having connectivity issues when it was outside but it has a great color spectrum for a relaxing bath!

I like the light bulb but the app for it needs work.

Been watching these for over a year, price finally dropped on a deal of the day so I jumped on them. Set up was a little tuff but after following the troubleshooting process the rest was a breeze. We use 2 on our deck and they survived the recent nor'easter

The bulb is great. I can set on and off timers and works great on my patio.
