Quality subject to antenna reception!

This needs a HDTV antenna...not included. 30 miles from town, I bought a 65 mile antenna that marginally works only IF against a window. May need the exterior roof mounted antenna at $99...and a butt-load of coax cable. Cutting the cord, so far, has not been worth it.

Posted .It is DEFINITELY worth talking with a Best Buy associate about cord cutting in your area before buying, if you haven't ever tested your local antenna. In fact, most HDHomeRun packaging now includes a code you can scan that will direct you to a website that will say exactly how many channels you can expect to get, depending on how powerful your antenna is! And if you don't want to visit the store to scan the code, just visit www.tvfool.com

Getting local TV on multiple devices w/o cable sub

I already had an antenna but I could only use it for the upstairs TV because our main TV didn't have a coaxial input. This solved that problem. Somewhat annoying to have to find an app to connect to the device to watch local TV, but luckily Xbox One is able to find it. You can also connect to it and watch on Android phones. Idk about Apple devices.

Sweet unit

Great addition to OTA antenna
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The Homerun Duo is great for watching my OTA channels on all my devices that have the Homerun app,FireTv,Samsung tablet and smart phone...It was easy to setup and get running....It does seem a little slow when changing channels and the screen turns green before the channel displays...it would be nice if you could access the device away from home since it is connected to my router.

Posted .You are absolutely correct. An awesome thing for those with data caps is all the video you stream off an antenna into your home network doesn't touch the data cap. You can get literally unlimited video without using a byte of video streaming cap! Thanks for the review!
