    I don't get it

On the box it says "dual OTA DVR". I assumed it would connect bewtween my antenna and TV and record 2 channels. Also on the box says DVR compatible with Windows 7. I assumed I would record DVR programs on my W7 computer. After connecting the ethernet and antenna, there was no way to connect to my TV. Now that I look through reviews I see I need a Smart TV which I don't. When connected to ethernet, the App ran on my W7 computer and said it was not compatible. I need a W10 computer. The "DVR" must be in the cloud because it said I had to subscribe to a service to get DVR. I am taking it back. As far as I can tell, this is only good for people who watch TV on tablets and have good internet service.

Probably would be neat if it supported Roku, must purchase additional 3rd party subscription to use Roku.

Beware. I ordered a new HomeRun Connect DOU online and received a product that 1) had already been opened 2) the power cord didn't fit the unit. The cord was too large for the hole. I am not used to having to take time and effort to return items I purchased online. Thumbs down on this product and BestBuy for restocking a product that clearly was defective and returned by another customer.

    broken channel listings unfixable

beware if you hook this up to cable or OTA, if the channel data isn't sent over the wire, the channel names will show as unknown. there is no solution available, they removed this specific feature awhile back. so you may have a 50/50 shot of having your channels identified, and there will be no way to update to proper channel names.

It's extremely rare for a channel to not have a channel name, as all Over the Air TV channels are required to provide them. Cable channels are not tunable by this device unless you are using QAM, in which case the name of the channel is still required to be broadcast. If you run into a channel that doesn't have a name, please contact [email protected], and perhaps we can work with the provider to remedy the issue.

    DVR software is buggy garbage

I bought this with the plan of getting the DVR service to record OTA content, but the DVR software is total garbage. Don't waste your money on it! Most decent software companies don't have their customers loading BETA software to configure devices they have in production. if you don't believe me read their help forums before you buy the DVR service.
