I've used several smart watches in the past, with my iPhone, and the Apple Watch is the definitive option! Firstly, it's the only one with a UI that flows with the iPhone. And with all the watch apps and the handoff feature, using Apple Watch is a breeze. Navigating through the apps is second nature, and having notifications from all the apps I choose, on my wrist, is a game changer. The watch is extensively customizable, although there are only so many types of watch faces. All in all, a beautiful piece of hi tech jewelry, and definitely the only smartwatch that should be used with iPhone.

    Apple Watch 42mm Milanese Loop

It's the only watch I will ever purchase and need. I love my Apple Watch, the battery last all day and sometimes two days depending on how much you use it. I have researched and read several reviews before deciding on the Apple Watch with stainless steel Milanese Loop band for a few reasons, but not before considering the benefits and drawbacks of Apple’s entire collection of straps and bands for Apple. I mainly bought the watch for fitness and to Receive and respond to notifications in an instant. Also to Track my daily activity. Control my music using only my voice. I also use it for paying for groceries, gas and any merchant that accepts Apple Pay. With Apple Watch, important, information and essential features are always just a raise of the wrist away. Milanese Loop won’t discolor or deform. It’s the only band that is truly resistant to scratches, deformation and discoloring, making it the most durable option among all the bands. Discoloration and deformation is a fact of life for those other materials and something, The pricier stainless steel Link Bracelet is also not impervious to damage or wear and tear; like all link bands, it will get scratched and scuffed quite easily (also an issue The Milanese Loop, however, with its busy, tightly weaved stainless steel mesh pattern, does an excellent job of resisting and hiding scratches. It's also, like all stainless steel bands, won’t have any issue with discoloration, deformation or damage due to sweat and lotions. I Purchased the SS Milanese Loop for $699 because it's a better buy and I purchased the black sport band for $49.99 , because the Milanese Loop band by itself is $149.99 and the AW SS Black Sport band is $599.00 you will end up paying about $50.00 more if you end up later wanting to purchase the MILANESE Loop band for $149.99 Apple Watch Features • Stainless steel or space black stainless steel case • Sapphire crystal • Retina display with Force Touch  • Ceramic back • Digital Crown • Heart rate sensor, accelerometer, and gyroscope • Ambient light sensor • Speaker and microphone • Wi-Fi (802.11b/g/n 2.4GHz) • Bluetooth 4.0 • Up to 18 hours of battery life* • Water resistant** • Apple Watch may ship with watchOS. But watchOS 2 is available as a free download. What’s in the box • Apple Watch • Magnetic charging cable (2 m) • USB power adapter (5W) • Band (Milanese Loop Band) Quick start guide

First let me say that this device has changed how I use my iPhone 6 plus. In general, it has actually changed my point of view on wearables and such. Read on to learn more about my journey. I use an iPhone 6+ 128 GB (personal number with work exchange data synced) and a Samsung Galaxy S6 128 GB (work with work only data). I've been into wearables most recently and have purchased all in mostly in this order. Mainly to help me lose my target weight of 60 pounds (i'm down 48). I've had: Samsung Galaxy Gear, Samsung Galaxy Gear 2, Samsung Gear S with data, Samsung Gear Fit, Moto 360, LG Watch Urbane, Pebble (original).Fit Bit Ultra, Fit Bit One, Fit Bit HR, Fit Bit Surge, Microsoft Band, Jawbone Up 2, Polar Loop and now the Apple Watch. With all the other wearables, I spent more time fiddling with the device to make it work for me. Other times I would have to vigorously shake my wrist to wake the device. The Apple Watch is different. Like many others I poo-poo'd it and told my entire family not to get it and stay away (I am an executive during the day and tech support for siblings and mom - lol.). I finally decided to try one on at the Apple store (only because I've had every wearable BUT the Watch) and two weeks later, I went back and got the Black Aluminum Sport. I had it for 10 days and realized it was actually pretty good. It wakes up the screen and turns off the screen when you want it to. It anticipated what I wanted to do based on the wrist movement. I also noticed that I didn't need to spend minutes to interact with the Watch unlike Samsung or Androidwear. I only needed a split second to glance or tap a selection button and I was back to whatever I was doing. I didn't get distracted like I normally do with my iPhone and S6. After my 10th day , I decided to just keep it. On the 14th day (Apple has 14 day return policy), I urged my wife to get one too. I qualified it enough that she would find it useful and friendly. We got her the Stainless Steel 38mm with Black Sport Band. After two hours with setup and getting familiar with it and customized to her settings, she was off to her normal duties for the rest of the weekend. The gym was on the list too! Later that afternoon she said she loved it. She said I should go back and get a Stainless Steel version since I won't be wearing my Rolex or Panerai again (she was kidding). I went back and got the Stainless Steel 42mm with Black Classic Buckle. Loved it! Had it for 10 days...and then it happened. I stopped wearing my other watches (more than $25,000 in investments across two timepieces). I went back again to the Apple store and exchanged it for the one with the Metal Link Bracelet. That topped me off at $1000. Cheap if you ask me :-) Since then I've gone back and purchased other bracelets and bands for my wife and I. Don't get me wrong. This is not for everyone and it's not cheap. In our family keepsake, we have almost $100,000 in timepieces (let's get real, they are jewelry) and have not worn any of them since the Apple Watches came into play. We are not wealthy and we save as much as possible and are cheapest when it comes to the holidays and dining out. We didn't get the gold because...it's too much money for what it is. I don't want a gold brick on my wrist. Plus, it's not our color. If there was white gold, platinum or similar, we'd have it for sure. The take away is this. Try it, live with it for a 10 days and you'll see how you've changed your expectations about wearables, your iPhone and timekeeping in general. Enjoy.
