The story starts a bit slow but turns out as the best Uncharted game in the series and rums around 12 to 16 hours. The mp is average at best and has gimmicky magical abilities.

Uncharted 4 sets the new standard for interactive storytelling by engaging the player with mature gaming systems and improved gunplay. While the game's pace slows to a crawl in the third act, it's a small criticism for an experience that finishes so strong.

If you liked the last 3 games, this is a must play. It starts a little slow, but picks up the pace after a few hours.

Not quite finished with this one yet, but I've had a great time with this game. Really good story and amazing graphics, some of the best I've seen on PS4. Only reasons I'm not giving it 5 stars are because it starts off pretty slow, and there seems to be less emphasis on gunfight scenes than previous chapters of this series.

Since this is Nathan's last outing, as we've been told, I am playing this slowly. So far, it's the return as from the 3rd, great graphics and enjoyable story. Definitely a worthwhile purchase for fans of the series or Lara Croft fans as well. Recommended!

I'm glad the closure of Uncharted 4 ended on a high note, but it's sad to see Nathan Drake's journey come to an end. Although I'm excited to see what's in store for Naughty Dog, the creator of Uncharted, and I'm crossing my fingers for it to be the sequel to The Last of Us. You can't go wrong with Uncharted 4. After multiple delays, it was concerning it would be a letdown, but always have faith in Naughty Dog to pull it off. A great send-off for Nathan Drake.

Naughty Dog has created another fantastically detailed world for Drake and team to roughhouse through. Beautiful set pieces, excellent direction and voice acting all come together to shape a well-paced adventure flick as video game. Have not rushed through to the end yet so I can't comment on how satisfying the series wraps, but if you, like me, were fearful of the game failing to maintain the humor and integrity of the characters with the shake up in original writers and constant release delays, don't be. This is no money grab but a beautiful reunion with old friends- add to cart now. See you in multiplayer!

I'm about 70% of the way done so far and it is an excellent game. So far I can't say I've enjoyed it AS MUCH as #2 and #3, but those were epic games and extremely hard to live up to. It starts a little slow IMO as the first several chapters are a lot of exposition and exploring (I think there were maybe 2-3 gun fights total within the first 6 chapters). But things picked up fast in the following 10 chapters. I expected nothing less than outstanding, and so far it has met my expectations.

Best game on the PlayStation 4 so far. It has the best graphics for a game on the console. Also the story is terrific. I would recommend playing the first three games first so you understand the story better. It does start off slow but picks up once you keep playing. A definite buy for any PlayStation 4 owner.

Had gamers club membership so got the game for $48. The game is a tad slow in the begining and focusses more on the story and orgins of Nathan Drake. I still think UC2 was better than this game. To be honest UC2 was an 8 star game so the comparison is unfair with any game. This game is a must have for UC fans and is a great farewell to our beloved Nathan Drake. Once again great voice acting and great graphics. I was kinda hoping this game would be longer in campaign mode.

Can't praise the game enough for its pleasing graphics. It's audio and sound effects are best experienced through a 5.1 / 7.1 surround sound system (configurable in audio settings) along with dynamic range and speaker placement specifications for time delay and center channel fine tuning for dialogue or effects and dialog output. One thing that really bothered me for the first 17 chapters of this game was the horrible motion blur, always present even when panning camera angles slowly. I thought my Samsung PN64F8500 plasma had grown old and tired and could no longer keep up. Nothing I tweaked on my TV worked so I had to grudgingly accept this motion blur to an otherwise visually impressive game. Well, into my 17th chapter, I was going thru the settings menu and under "Video", I found a setting for "MOTION BLUR" set to "10", the MAX setting! Once I dropped this setting down to "3", the horrible motion blur which had plagued the game during camera pans was gone! My only gripe with the game gone, I can now give this beautifully rendered, directed and voiced game the max rating it deserves.

Naughty Dog, the developer of the Uncharted series, is home to the Sony ICE team (Initiative for a Common Engine) which is one of the premier graphics groups in gaming. Their hard work shows through brilliantly in lush and smooth visuals making it the most beautiful game released on PS4 to date. Everything else about it's pretty great too. Level design is solid enough so that there is more than one way to advance to the next part of the story. Gameplay itself is intuitive and adds a bit more stealth to previous Uncharted games, which I find to be a welcome mechanic. The online multiplayer is a bright spot as well. I've only noticed a tiny bit of lag in a few matches after dozens of hours of playing. It would be nice to see one or two more game modes but overall it's excellent.

Don't get me wrong, uncharted as a series is awesome. Uncharted 4 is a great game...the graphics and sound are superb. The story starts off slow as you are introduced to the brother we never knew Nathan had but is vital to set up the story. There's quite a bit of climbing so if platforming is not your thing this might not be for you. The reason for the 4 stars is even if the story was everything a fan would want with great pacing between action and cool down moments, the game misses out on creating the iconic action scenes found in prior games such as the train scene in 2 and the plane scene in 3. The biggest action scene in this game felt like the level where Nathan is being chased while in a jeep through a town and grappling onto another vehicle, was demoed and appeared on youtube months before the game was released; I just wished it had more surprising action sequences. It's a well-polished game but the gameplay mechanics show its age where it felt like I had already done this before in prior games and just went through the motions to get through the story anticipating something new. Fans of Uncharted should definitely pick this up but don't expect anything new from the formula.

My daughter and I have played all the Uncharted games. Although the first three games were amazing, they felt tedious in certain parts of gameplay. The, seemingly, endless amount of bad guys was overkill and eventually felt like work and not fun. This is the first Uncharted game to strike a perfect balance between how many bad guys and how hard it's to take them down. The cover system can be frustrating at times because there seems to be a slight lag between pressing the button and Nate actually taking cover. Taking cover is often inaccurate. For example, I would try to take cover behind a crate and end up on the side of the crate exposed. Now the enemy has spotted me and I'm getting shot at. Still, overall, the mechanics feel good and responsive enough for an action/adventure. The game feels like a real adventure. The story is easy to follow and keeps you wanting to know what's coming up next. They also don't force you to re-watch the cut-scenes like some other studios *cough* *ubisoft* *cough*. The immersion and experience of this game is unforgettable. The visuals in this game are truly amazing. The different locales are breath-taking. Every time I play I find myself commenting on how stunning everything looks. How they are able to do this on the PS4 is unbelievable except for the fact that it's real. If you're thinking about purchasing this, stop thinking and just do it. I profoundly recommend this game!

I have played all of the Uncharted games up until this point. However this game misses the mark. It is a graphically amazing game with minimal bugs, but the game play falls short. Graphics: What more to say other than the game looks great. It is a shame SP is 30 FPS, but Multiplayer is 60 FPS and very addictive. At the time of my purchase ND also implemented some critical updates to allow for customization on how the user sees the game (Motion Blur, Camera controls, etc) Game Play: This is lacking. The previous games were always a mix of platforming / action. But this game places more emphasis on Platforming and less emphasis on action. The problem here is the platforming is guided and easy, hence it is boring. Fire Fights are far and few between and most of the time they encourage stealth which in my opinion slows things down further. The saving grace here is the multiplayer included the recent DLC which adds a fun survivor mode (waves of NPCs players fight against). The MP is better than TLOU as it learns from this game, and implements a faster pace. Sound: Not too much to really say here. The game sounds ok, there isn't too much nuance. Replayability: SP replay value is minimal. With Speed running components implemented it adds a bit of value. But the real replay value is in MP PVP and Survival mode. Here you can sink hours of gameplay in which really makes the game a lot of fun (MP community is still alive and well at the time of this review). One MAJOR gripe I have with the game is the microtransactions. In order to earn the items they have listed in their stores you would have to play hundreds of thousands of hours to get them all. The skins and costumes are overpriced and while ND doesn't completely mess over the player, they do make a decent attempt to do so. Overall: A fun game worth the buy at 20 bucks. MP is fun and in my opinion where the REAL game play is at. Most will say the SP is where the fun is, but I will go against the grain and say SP isn'thing more than a slow paced story with a few fire fights thrown in.

Uncharted for pushes graphics to the limit. All I can say is, it's another amazing game from Naughty Dog. Naughty Dog has officially made themselves one of the top 3 best game developers out there, with their previous release, "The Last of Us", and they continue to prove how special they are with "Uncharted 4 A Thief's End." Uncharted 4 is the final game in the Uncharted series and it's the perfect way to end the series. Just be warned, that the game does start of very slow from chapter 3-9, but all the chapters 10-22 completely make up for it. The reason for the slow start is because Naughty Dog felt the need to show what main character Nathan Drake's life is like after being a retired thief/treasure hunter for 3 years. I don't mind them showing what his life is like, but it just felt overlong. While chapter 5 was pretty good, 6-9 feel pretty boring, due to the dull environment around you. But once you get to Madagascar in chapter 10, that's when the real adventure starts. There is a lot of driving around in chapter 10, but Naughty Dog made the perfect driving mechanics and due to how amazing Madagascar looks, and how amazing the graphics are, it's like an interactive movie. You don't mind driving around for so long because seeing the the graphics, the environment and not only that but driving in the mud, just makes it a great experience. Everything boring about the previous chapter and the slow start will be forgotten because of how amazing the game is from chapter 10-22. And every time you end up shooting a wall and driving through some things, it always ends up falling down. Everything is destructible which adds to the fun. As with all previous games from Naughty Dog, voice acting is amazing, character animations are perfect, and honestly if it wasn't for the slow start, the game could've been perfect. There is also multiplayer in the game. Multiplayer is really fun, but it can get boring after awhile, due to the fact that there aren't many battle stages in the game. The fun comes from the variety of ways you can approach it such as climbing, swimming and using the rope to swing across places, and also purchasables like mystical items, you can call juggernauts to help you out, you can call snipers for help and all that makes it more fun. But the game really is lacking battle stages. There will be more stages in the future as well as co-op, but for now, it doesn't have that. It's obvious that the game's strength is the single player, and it shows, because it has a great story, great character, amazing graphics and art design, and it's the perfect send off for the franchise and another home run from developer Naughty Dog. My final rating for "Uncharted 4 A Thief's End" is a 9/10. If it wasn't for the slow start, the game would easily be a 10/10, but there is no doubt that this is a must buy if you have a PS4.
