Most people would agree that the Uncharted series is an excellent action/adventure series and the best of the bunch was Uncharted 2. After playing Uncharted 4, with the upgraded graphical horesepower of the PS4 and enough development time to ensure a great story, I am torn between this entry and Uncharted 2. Regardless, we get an excellent end to Nathan Drake's story, and a rip-roaring adventure that doesn't let up. I wholeheartedly recommend this entry in the Uncharted series. My only caveat is that you should really play the rest of the series first. The emotional weight behind the relationships in this game just can't be properly appreciated unless you have been with these characters from the beginning. Fortunately for you, the Nathan Drake Collection is available for PS4, and the gameplay still holds up in Uncharted 1-3.

My review is for the PS4 console. Product was well packaged and without damaged. It has 1-player campaign and online multiplayer features. The game is extremely good, intense, makes you think to solve problems/puzzles and has a lot of action and cinematic sections (graphics/details are spectacular and well defined). If you like games where you have to think and a lot of action as well, this game is for you. You do not have to play Uncharted 1,2,3 previously in order to play this game. Uncharted 4 has its own story. Special Note: I play this game with the "Sony - Gold Wireless Stereo Headset for PlayStation 4", which comes in black color and in light blue to match Uncharted 4, and has the sound profile specifically for this game, which makes it sound spectacular. I definitely recommend this game to my friends/family.

Most PS4 owners have already played at least one of the Uncharted games before and should feel right at home with this one. The graphics and sound are excellent as always with smooth controls. There are more cutscenes than the previous games but they do make for an interesting insight into Nathan Drake's personal life and provide a little break from the action. The game is fairly lengthy depending on how fast you want to complete the objectives and can solve the puzzles. I like taking my time to explore for the hiddent treasures and take in the beautiful surroundings and artwork whenever possible. This game when combined with The Drake Collection and The Lost Legacy will provide gamers with some of the best video game entertainment available today.

The Uncharted series is one of my all-time favorites on the PS4 and this game delivers on all counts. Just when you think that Nathan has settled down, he is thrown into a situation with his brother that he cannot avoid especially when treasure is involved. Some complained that there were too many cut-scenes but there is more than enough action to keep you busy for quite some time. We get to find out more about Nathan when he was younger and how his brother helped him hone his skills. Take the game for what it is and enjoy all of the moments it has to offer. If you had played any of the previous Uncharted games, then the controls will be second-nature and are very responsive. The Uncharted Collection is at an awesome price right now for three of the best games you can buy.

Naughty Dog, the developer of the Uncharted series, is home to the Sony ICE team (Initiative for a Common Engine) which is one of the premier graphics groups in gaming. Their hard work shows through brilliantly in lush and smooth visuals making it the most beautiful game released on PS4 to date. Everything else about it is pretty great too. Level design is solid enough so that there is more than one way to advance to the next part of the story. Gameplay itself is intuitive and adds a bit more stealth to previous Uncharted games, which I find to be a welcome mechanic. The online multiplayer is a bright spot as well. I've only noticed a tiny bit of lag in a few matches after dozens of hours of playing. It would be nice to see one or two more game modes but overall it's excellent.

I titled it this way because I don't really think they would end the series completely. I just think Nathan Drake will be retired and it will be another character in the storyline. Okay, that's me hoping! This game was fantastic. I have played all of the Uncharted games to date including the Remastered versions and love the quality that goes into them. It does sometimes feel pretty linear, but there are moments, especially in the driving sequences that feel really open. I haven't went back to gather all of the collectibles, but I can imagine how long it will take. My daughter actually loved watching me play Uncharted 4 because it is a movie like experience. My son is getting ready to play through the series as well and I can't wait until he gets to the finale Uncharted 4.

Was so excited to play this game, but now all joy has been ripped from my world. First of all, why would they(ND) replace Drake's voice actor with Drake the rapper?!!! Secondly, who's idea was it to give Drake some form of Ninja spider- sense that activates anytime he's sexually aroused??! And the whole "Sully is Drake's actual father rewrite" is so Hollywood...needless to say, I am incensed by the changes made to this game. The zombie raptors were pretty cool though.

Love letter to Uncharted fans. I was a huge fan of Uncharted 2 and after my disappointment with 3 I was looking forward to this game. Ill keep this short and to the point. Great visuals, some of the best on PS4. So so combat A driving level that was pretty fun Very simple puzzles Great voice acting Plot holes Every level has a few large scripted events that are mostly predictable Disappointing gameplay ending Great story ending I am not a fan of the multiplayer Here is my biggest problem with the game....TOO MUCH CLIMBING, way too much climbing as time filler. Good grief there is soo much climbing it honestly made me want to just finish the game and get it over with. The filler was so annoying I do not want to play through this game again. Recommended as a rental

Uncharted 4 is one of those sequels that surpasses everything that came before. They seemingly took all the lessons they learned from the PS3 and applied them to this game. It probably has the strongest narrative of all the Uncharted games and has some interesting characters. It doesn't have the "Wow!" factor of part 2, but that's mainly because when part 2 came out nobody had really seen that before (yes, it was clearly inspired by Tomb Raider, but U2 did things Tomb Raider never did). But, in terms of just execution and polish Uncharted 4 is fantastic!

Uncharted 4 is finally here and boy, it doesn't disappoint. I've played the first 2 games of the series but not the third and felt right at home with "A Thief's End". The basic controls will feel very familiar to fans but, with a little more polish. Gun play feels better then in the previous games and if you suck at aiming, like me, there are plenty of options to help you out. The graphics are beautiful. I have caught myself just standing still and staring at the scenery on many occasions. This is one of the best looking PS4 games to date, gives "The Witcher 3" a run for its money IMO. I'm only half way through the game and the story so far has been very entertaining, I have no complaints. If you have enjoyed the Uncharted series then you'll definitely enjoy this outing.

I'm not the biggest fan of the Uncharted series in large part because I think the shooting feels awful, but the story has always been good, so I endured the subpar gameplay. With Uncharted 4, Naughty Dog had made the game much more enjoyable to play thanks to the addition of accessibility options, specifically the lock-on targeting option, which makes the shooting nowhere near as frustrating as it is without lock-on. That said, I think the story is a bit weaker in 4, but it's still good enough and, if nothing else, it's one of the prettiest rides one can enjoy in the gaming space. Also, it often lingers on scenes/moments/etc, making the game a handful of hours longer than it should be when all is said and done.

I have played the Uncharted series since the first game was released and this chapter was a great end to the series. It was full of fan service moments for those of us who have been there since the beginning. For newcomers it is a compelling action game with incredible graphics. I found the pace was slower then previous Uncharted games but the environments where much more open giving you some choices on how to play. As always the big set pieces were crazy over the top moments as good as if not better then Hollywood. The multiplayer has improved and a new survival mode was recently added. If you haven't played the Uncharted games then the best comparison I can give you is that they are similar to the new rebooted Tomb raider games (another great series!)

This is a masterpiece, plain and simple. Yes, the graphics are much improved over the previous iterations, but that really isn't the point of this one, it's the story. In other Uncharted games, I'd say it was 50% story, 50% combat with a constant ebb and flow between them. This game seems to be more 80% story and 20% combat which is totally OK with me, That being said, there are still plenty of good battles, just not the wave-after-wave action we're used to in the series. As for the ending, I won't spoil it, but I will say it is a completely perfect way to wrap up the series. Really explore the Epilogue area though, lots of neat things to be seen that I missed the first time I did it. Now I want to go play the entire series just to witness it all over again.

If you’re like me and loved Uncharted 2, but found 3 to be a bit boring, Uncharted 4 will make you happy again! This is a fantastic game with a great story, with that amazingly cinematic Uncharted game play that you love! I only have one issue and that is who Nathan ends up with and how he deals with every situation with her. She’s fine and well acted but they just don’t seem like a good match... At least not as good as the other potential wife could have been. But that is just a nit-pick. Highly recommended, and one of the reasons I own a PS4!

Not only is Uncharted 4 cinematically stunning, it is probably the best, and most polished game I have ever played in my 27 years on Earth. Gameplay is familiar, but that is not to say it is bland. You will be doing new things you never got to do in past Uncharted games. I do not want to spoil you the details of what is added, so I will let you find out for yourself. All I can say is that the game is expansive and not as linear as previous games. By far, the art is the game is sensational! Developer Naughty Dog has had its hands full in the office with all the management moves, but the overall product is captivating and awe-inspiring. You will also appreciate some of the homages it pays to early Naughty Dog games. AMAZING. Even the epilogue is fun to play.

After playing all 3 Uncharted games on the PS3, Uncharted 4 was a no brainer when they announced it for the PS4. What might be my all time favorite franchise on the PlayStation, I was so excited when Uncharted 4 final was announced and released. Furthermore, I was a little sad that this will be Naughty Dogs last Uncharted Game. Uncharted 4 is PS4 AAA title that packs a lot of punch visually, but graphics aside Uncharted 4 story might be the best and most darkest one in the series. The gameplay has also improved and Naughty Dog added more stealth which reminded me of a Metal Gear Solid Game. All in all, if you own a PS4, and have played the other Uncharted game, you need to make sure you pick up Nathan Drake's last adventure. You won't be disappointed.

I own the PS4 (non Pro) and the first thing I can say about the visuals of this game is wow. I can not imagine what this game looks like in 4k. Every location you can't help but take a min to take in the beauty of each location. The controls have been fine tuned compared to previous three and it does not disappoint. It is a testament to the creators when they know in Uncharted 3, the controls were pretty good and they did not break anything in Uncharted 4. The controls are even better somehow. Overall, if you haven't played Uncharted you can still hop in an enjoy the game. If you have been playing Uncharted, you will definitely love this game and appreciate the effort the developers gave to end this amazing saga.

I saw others playing this and liked what I saw. So I bought it. It is simple to play, yet makes one think. At the time, I had not played the older versions (1,2&3), but have now. This is a much improved game from the old PS3s first 3 games. Story line is good. At times the shoot'em up part of it was more than I wanted. There are many levels you can choose from. Selecting easy is where I started, and as a beginner, could not imagine a harder level and still enjoy the game. It will be hard to put it down once you get started, total completion time will range from 12 - 20 hours. Take your time, explore and enjoy it rather than just complete it. The ending was very creative.... Well done game

The voice-acting, the set pieces, the puzzles, the story, the action, the drama! I love the Uncharted series. This final installment didn't suffer from sequelitis in the way Uncharted 3 did in my mind. Though still plenty fantastical, the game was fun and exciting to play! I have also been having a great time playing the multiplayer modes. It's a rare game that has fun multiplayer and single player modes of equal satisfaction. My one major gripe with the game is the lack of the co-op mode and the split screen for co-op and multiplayer. I've been wanting to find more couch co-op games to play with my wife and was really hoping that since previous installments of the series had couch co-op, I could get that here as well. No such luck.
