Unicorn Overlord wears its influences on its sleeves, but that is a good thing. It's part Ogre Battle, part Fire Emblem, and part its entirely own thing, and the end result is an absolute blast to play. Add to that the gorgeous visuals, and it's a game that hits all of the marks. The only problems are some minor balance issues, and even those don't detract from the overall fun experience. If you're a fan of strategy RPGs, you owe it to yourself to try out Unicorn Overlord.

Great game, dumb name. 10/10. I recommend it to anyone who likes final fantasy tactics, fire emblem, ogre battle etc.. It's breath of fresh air to strategy\tactics fans. If you're on the fence try the demo. It's the first area of the game with a 7-8 hour time limit. If you decide to get the full game you can use the demo save to continue your progress.

One of the best games I've played this year. Strong real time strategy gameplay, a wide range of interesting characters. An expansive and evolving world to explore and battle in. Not to mention the incredible visual direction. If you are on the fence I could not recommend picking this game up more.

Got this on a whim for the plane. Its been a lot of fun. I like the art style and the mechanics are easy. It also has automatic battling system which is nice.

On sale, delivered right when it said it would be, and I'm loving the game. No complaints, I actually bought two bc I had originally wanted to get this for a friend, but after looking at it, knew the game would be fun for me as well.

I wasn't sure that I would like this game based on the trailer and name, but I loved 13 Sentinels and figured I would give UO a shot. After playing for over 30 hours, I can say with certain this game is amazing! I rate it right up there with 13 Sentinels and Dragon's Crown. Do yourself a favor and pick this game up if you are a fan of Vanillaware or SRPGs. You will not be disappointed.

Ogre Battle has a spiritual successor now, but this game is so much more! If you are a fan of any tactical RPG like Fire Emblem, Final Fantasy Tactics, Tactics Ogre, Triangle Strategy, Disgaea, Shining Force, The Banner Saga, and countless others, this game is for you! I expect that plenty of games coming out for years to come will draw inspiration from this!

An gorgeous strategy roleplaying game made in the style of the cult classic Ogre Battle. Fire Emblem fans can find a lot to love here! Easy to casually play, or you can dive deep into higher difficulties and make the perfect fantasy army. Personally, Unicorn Overlord has really taken me back to the fun I had gaming as a kid.

Unicorn Overload has been quite the fun tactical rpg, and the game came perfect out of box.

I have played a couple of strategy games before on the switch but this one is quite unique. The systems and team building goes quite deep and the artstyle is amazing, never seen anything like it before. Would recommend this for any strategy game fans!
