This was my worse purchase ever. The dash cam didn't work. Nothing happened after setting it up. Not a thing. If I could give it zero stars, I would. I thought Uniden was a good brand but I'm now staying away from all Uniden dash cams and reviewing other brands instead.

After one month just stopped working does not turn on

Something has happened and now it will not work. It records for about 2 minutes then locks up and makes a god awful sound... Trash!!!

Not happy with the quality of captured video ... exchanged for the Garmin 35 DashCam. I highly recommend the Garmin DashCam.

Received the box with the camera out of place, it even had the recording of the previous "owners". I did not buy an open box item. Very disapointed.

Problems turning on and off. Lots of times had lines and cloudy screen.

unit is too small requires to have power cord connected all the time so wire is exposed on windshield. Requires micro card sold additionally

Daylight recording acceptable, though it does not appear to record @ full HD despite selecting FHD resolution. Poor distance visibility at night with night-vision LED unless streets are (very) well-lit. Overall, okay for how much I spent on it (purchased during Black Friday sale), but if I could redo, I would save the money for a nicer unit.

After having several $20 - $25 2.7" ebay dash cams I wanted something with better resolution; as all of those even saving files as 1920x1080 have low res camera sensors, and the video at 1920x108 was just the same as at lower resolutions. So I bought the Uniden CAM250 expecting something better. I didn't care about the tiny screen as I would use it after an event occurred using the memory card. When I first powered up the CAM250 it all looked very familiar - the exact same screens, menus and sounds from the $25 ebay units. I did runs with side by side comparison to the cheap ones and no improvement at all in the video quality. This is just the same as the cheapo ebay ones but with a Uniden case. The CAM250 was worse in that it shut down in a few seconds after power was removed; the ebay ones last 2-3 minutes. The only 2 good points about the CAM250 from Best Buy was the audio was slightly louder than the $25 ebay ones and Best Buy gave me a refund the next day when I returned it.
