I was not expecting this camera to have great video but it does. The video is clear but not clear enough to read license plates but it will work for what I need it to do.

Works good. Nice wide view to capture sides. Battery doesn't last long after charge so don't depend on the park mode.

I bought the Dash Cam for my husband for Father's Day because he drives all over the city and countryside and sees all sorts of interesting driving. Also, since he does drive all day, I wanted to have the comfort of knowing if anything happened to him while he was driving, we would have a record of it. The Dash Cam is very easy to install and extremely easy to use.

After reading some of the negative reviews, I was reluctant to purchase this but I'm glad that I took the chance, especially because it was a clearance item and the price was very affordable. I travel on the road a lot and decided this would come in handy for insurance purposes. Very user friendly and have had no issues with it. Highly recommend, if it's on sale !!

Wanted to record road trip on vacation. Now I can see great other uses.

I bought this camera after encountering two near hit-and-miss accidents - both drivers left without stopping - within one week. The video clarity is great even to use it to record a trip through a national park, and while it has lots of extra bells and whistles, I have chosen to turn most of them off for now. The software designed to keep you in your traffic lane has been a bit inconsistent - and insistent on warning me every time I leave the center of the lane, and the feature that takes "emergency" video clips based on sudden stops or slowdowns can't be adjusted well enough to not make an emergency out of every swerve of the car. But I have a 64GB SD card, so I can usually go back to the full video stream and find anything I need to cull out of a day's adventures. Good buy for the price.

I liked the style and everything put it does what it should just the parking mode it's not great at all. Shuts off after 10 min no matter how long u had it charged. U would probably have to keep it charged with a car that keeps it charging or buy a extra battery juice box and it will have to stay attached.

I thought this would take better video because of the FPS rating but for what I need it for, it was not. I needed it for catching drivers running my red lights on my school bus. The resolution when it came time to pause & zoom in to read a license pate was impossible. Also, this one I bought was defective as it would not hold a charge. Maybe for the average driver just looking to catch video while driving in case something happens, than it's OK

Camera gives good pictures and video but not good enough the make out vehicle license numbers except very close up and in good light.

I am really impressed with this cam. It has already came in handy to record a teenage driver in my neighborhood being reckless. I posted it to the neighborhood page and her parents saw it. She drove a lot safer the next time that I saw her.

For the most part this camera seemed ok. The only problem with it so far was that its accident detection was WAY too sensitive, turning on emergency recording for even safe and responsible stops or bumps. Everything else was alright. And then a week in it starts saying the SD card needs to be reformatted. I tried doing it through the camera itself, no luck. Then pulled the card out and my computer won’t even detect it. I’m not sureif Uniden just put a cheap card in their camera, or if the camera itself is the problem. Either way it doesn’t inspire faith in the brand or the product and I hope that my new sd card lasts more than a week.

So far this has been great. But I have only used it for a couple of days. I believe I got what I paid for. Someone else mentioned the lane departure was too sensistive. I think it might have something to do with the placement of the camera as well. I will find out tomorrow when I move where I placed it.

These two camera's work very well, I pulled the card and played it on my computer with there program that comes with the camera's and they worked perfectly.The installer's that put them in my car did a really nice installation for us.

The memory in this camera is good for only a few hours, then it writes over previous recordings. A 32GB SD Card uses over 28.5GB on a 8hr trip. Would recommend being able to use a 64GB SD Card. Pictures and sound are great.
