Not working good. When I’m driving it’s stop automatically.

I purchased this camera for our newer car. It mounts and sets up fairly easy. We wanted one with the suction cup for quick removal for sunscreen. It has nice features that will record good visible video for any occurence that may happen. It also has a motion detection mode that will capture any movement in front of car along with G force recording for accidents and impact moments. It's a nice compact unit that's easy to use and feel more comfortable driving with a third eye registering everything in front and partial side angles. The only thing that we have yet to see work is the Red Light warning, but we are careful drivers so being observant at intersections is a must to be safe. We are glad that we purchased it and feel more secure while driving.

I enjoyed almost all of the features: HD video was good, but couldn't see license plates clearly 1,3, or 5 minute increments was good BUT, to run the cam without being plugged into the charger, a charge only lasts for maybe a few hours of driving. I don't want the power cord hanging down across the w/shield while I'm driving

This was my first experience with a dash cam - ever. It took some time to get used to it. I went back to Best Buy to have them professionally install the cable and it looks very nice. Only annoying thing on it is that it often powers up to a blank screen. You have to hold down the power button to restart it - sometimes SEVERAL times til the Uniden screen comes back on. Once it gets started, it's fine. If I had to do it again - I'd look at a different model.

I bought this counting on the parking lot later after getting a mirror destroyed while parked. My mirror got hit again today, but not destroyed, the parking monitor did not activate and record anything.
