works right out of the box, set mine up so the screen turns off after a couple of mins., don't even notice it, turns on when you turn the car on and turns off a few mins after you turn the car off.

Its good for protection to yourself incase you have a car accident

I gave this as a gift to my brother. He and his wife have been unable to get it to work even after reading the instructions multiple times and researching online. I will be returning it to the store for an exchange or a credit. Hope to have better luck with the next.

This product served my need for something simple and cost effective. It's easy to set up and has worked just fine since I bought it. I actually went back to the store to purchase a second unit for my other vehicle, but it was out of stock at the time.

I got this dash cam on sale and it was great for the first few weeks. Then, it started getting lines across the screen and shutting down. I tried to return to Best Buy, they said it was passed their return policy deadline. I tried to find support on the Uniden website. What a joke! Their website is not user friendly. I could not even find my dash cam model on their support site. I was able to find it for sale on their website. I read other customer reviews on their site and most were not very positive. Since it appears they charge the customer shipping to warranty return one of their products, that is only a month old. I chalked this one up to lessons learned, and won’t buy another Uniden product.

Has basic features and works fine. Runs for a few minutes without power cord if you need to take out of car. Although I haven't seen it recommended or promoted this way, I also hook it up and run from a phone recharger battery for out of car use.

Meh! What could I say besides meh. Wasn't good. Doesn't shut off on its own and it crashes. Took the ad cars out once to load a new one and it says please insert SD card. The f#&^! I will be returning it asap hope to get my money back. Meh!
