This is the best on the market for this price. Researched independent testers and this is the one to get. The R7 is coming but it’s $600!! This is just as good but with no arrows.

I never thought I'd buy a detector but I was going on a long trip and splurged. Actually found it kinda fun to spot where the signal was coming from. Worked flawlessly.

This Uniden radar detector works so well that it does not have to be on the dash! The price is also very reasonable compared to other detectors/

Brilliant detector. The falses have gone way down when compared to my old Escort. Range is about the same (pretty good).

easy install. found ka where they should not be. good bang for the buck. runs quite in suburbs ,unless there is radar.

It is praised one of the best on market but I have mixed feelings about item. For sure is long range and alerts you but.... Predominantly I use it on highway. On one occasion r1 gave a signal and I was expecting signal to increase as I approached to source but it didn’t. On couple others occasions I spotted vehicle but no signal at all. I’m puzzled. I thought it will alert me all the time, maybe I missed something when I researched item. Who knows. Suction cups are worthless. I had to buy double sided tape and it’s only temporary solution.

Excellent range on this radar detector. A number of false alarms too but fair trade for the long range.

Does what it claims to do, but at a very high level. Detects KA band miles away. Used in conjunction with other traffic apps, it is as close to bulletproof as you can get. Made a drive from Dallas to Denver - this device saved me more than I can count with two hands. R1BBY is the best deal, if you can still find it. Even at full price, I would buy this 10 more times.

Long range radar detector is accurate. Paid for itself within a week.

Bought this for BF and glad I made the purchase. The range is amazing and the looks aren’t horrible. Some of the improvements I’d make are the R3 already, but bang for your buck was too good to pass up. Wishful thing is directional notifications which even the R3 doesn’t have at this point.

This radar detector has saved me once already so it has paid for itself already. Does have few false alarms here and there but works !

This detector is very accurate and very easy to use...great value.

I’ve taken my Uniden R1 on many road trips since buying it. This detector gives me 2 miles worth of warning on the highway if there’s a cop running K or KA. It’s lovely. Laser warning works fine, but as anybody knows, it’s only a warning that the cop has clocked you. For people who want to be warned very early, this detector is a good buy.

Great value for the money saved me twice the first week I had it gave me enough warning to slow down

Love this thing. It takes care of you on the roads and has a nice look about it. Got it for the wife to replace an aging detector that had a very unpleasant warning sound. It’s awesome, range is impressive.

I really like the performance of the Uniden Radar Detector. I haven’t had any issues with it. Thinking of purchasing another for my husband.

Picked this one up when it was listed on slickdeals. Based on everyone's comments it was an excellent buy when I sell. I suggest you follow the internet reviews and configure this just as they suggest to make it work the best.

the bby deal was the best all over the internet. This one does not have the case and special power cord but the radar functions identical to the more $299 model
