    Have had a previous Uniden detector and it worked great for years. Needed to upgrade and this one was on sale and gave it a go. within 4 weeks the screen a line of dead pixels. Returned it and purchased a different detector.

    Sure the newer ones are out and have been improved but for a casual driver this radar works wonderfully and absolute tank for the cost

    I have been saved by things radar a ton of times. I can see a 2-3 mile warning on a straight road. Worth every dollar.

    The Uniden R1BBY radar detector works both on the highway and in the city. It alerts you when there is both highway patrols and city officers are in the area. I would recommend this detector to everyone!
