Love this product saved me numerous times on my everyday trips

I ran the 2 side by side for a week. I spent a few days making the R3 behave like the Redline, then compared the performance. The Redline will win if I turned it up but it's only useful in the Midwest with open roads. In the city or metro you have to moderate both detectors to a useable level. The big difference is the gps and ability to block and remember without having to use an app on my phone. With the right segmentation settings both of them false alarm rarely. But overall the R3 was quieter and detected a bit sooner with similar settings.

The radar menu is simple to understand. long range was a major decision for me easy to put together directions for installation were pretty simple to follow.

The Uniden R3 so far seems to work pretty good, seems like mine is already set up since it doesn’t go off all the time like some users complain about. I had a Uniden before this one and the reason I did was because the windshield mount finally tore apart and I have had it for years, and wanted a new one. I am very satisfied with the Uniden R3.

Wonderful unit, this was actually a second unit we bought because it reaches far and is really accurate.

This thing is awesome, catches cops two miles away, sometimes it’s so far that it just seems like a false alarm until you see the cop passing on the other side. Very quiet and limited false alarms. Overall very happy with it, love it!

I’ve had the Uniden R3 for about 3 weeks now. It’s very user friend, it has an easy to read display and provides precise alerts at a decent distance. Nothing extriodinary like 1/2 mile, but just enough distance to adjust your speed. Truth be told, if you pay attention to your surroundings while driving, save yourself some money and don’t buy it. If you’re not that alert while driving over the limit, this device will save you money from getting a speeding ticket.

I have had this scanner for over a year now and have loved it. It has excellent range and has definitely saved me a few different times both on the highway and on back roads. I haven't had any issues with it. It is easy to use and does its job well.

If you enjoy spirited driving this thing gives you a heads up well in advance. Most of the time I can’t even see what it’s pinging for a minute or two. It is sensitive to automatic doors which might get bothersome to you, but I’d rather be safe than sorry. False positives are better than missed positives in my opinion. And all of the higher end ones will also have the same issue.

This radar is an upgrade for my Beltronic detector. Its double the price! Been using it for two weeks now and I have notice it picks up a lot more signals then the old one. You ll have to teach it where the false alerts are and it learns can be annoying at first. It definitely detect sooner then my old radar.
