I've had the Uniden R3 for almost 2 months now, and it has saved me from 3 speeding tickets. The long range detection is incredible, alerting me to troopers long before I can see them. I would definitely recommend the Uniden R3 to anyone looking for a radar detector.

I personal would not own this radar detector only bc I own the Brand new Valentine Gen 2 . Bought this for my father bc for the price you will not beat the range of this detector. The range is nowheres near my Valentine but I know for a fact that's its better than the OVER-PRICED new Escort. Do not fall for the Escort bc it has a fancy app, bc thats all that it has.

I had read many reviews before deciding on the Uniden R3 model. At the time the R8 just had came out and very pricey. This one has same features and many good reviews on YouTube. Also once you get it set correctly you will be notified many miles in advance. The auto filter that filters out false signals works really well. I would not drive a vehicle without having.

Saved me multiple times, lots of K band but i just ignore them, watch out for KA.

I might be a little bit of a speed demon and this has saved me each and every time. It is quick to detect KA bands and using vortex radar I was able to set it up to where it doesn't beep at me annoyingly at the nearest CVS or 7/11. My only complaint with this radar is that sometimes the GPS doesn't connect until much after and on sometimes it just does not connect at all which makes my commute kind of annoying as I have locations with false alerts marked and saved on the system money. Regardless though, it definitely is worth the money.

Works great right out of the box! Did not have to adjust any settings other than changing the display color to a cool blue! Accurate alerts and long range detection very beneficial for safe travels!

Ohhhh this save me a lot of times already. I mainly use it on freeway. Easy to use and accuracy is probably 8 out of 10.

I love this product it is so helpful when i am driving.

It does give off a significant number of false positives (door openers, etc.) but I purchased it before a trip to Arizona and it saved me from legitimate tickets 3 times on that trip. An interesting observation to make is that it has an overall effect of simply slowing me down in general due to heightened awareness. I'll be getting one for my son in the hopes that it has a similar result.

Wow! Is this thing good! I read a review on this and decided to get it rather than the next level up. It’s true. If your looking for all the bells and whistles (pun intended) then next level is good but for almost $200 more dollars and you have to buy subscription to get some of the other services. If your looking for a great detector at a decent price this is it. I can’t believe the range on this! People riding with me even commented on it. And it does have a red light warning on it and other nifty stuff. Plus, I am using the suction cup mount with it and you talk about sturdy. Love it! And it’s easy to remove if you park in something like a mall parking lot and easy to put back up. Again, it’s a little pricey but I’m VERY happy with what I got.

My first radar detector but I love it. It was super easy to get set up. One of my favorite features is you can geotag certain areas that you always drive in to prevent it from accidentally going off. I also love the speed camera detection for school zones. In addition, having red light camera warnings is always nice.

Been almost a month of using it. I love having all the settings that I can configure. It has amazing range. Is fairly good at getting false readings. Plus if you're annoyed with the K band always going off, you can switch it off! 10/10 would recommend.

The range on the Uniden R3 is outstanding! It gives plenty of warning and very few false alerts. This is by far the best radar detector I have ever purchased. Highly recommend you won’t be disappointed.

The pro is that it is the best radar detector out there, period. This is verified by multiple sources on the interwebs, so please do some research before trying to disagree with me. The only con that I can see is that it still gives false positives from the vehicle collision avoidance systems of other cars. If they could figure this out better, it would be worth 5 stars.

This radar detector is so much more than just detecting radar! It has the many features of more expensive models, but they're easy to use AND customize! I highly recommend this model! Even to someone who has never used a radar detector before!

Honestly a very good buy , did not even take long to program it mainly did it , itself quick and easy.
