Great for the price, every thing you need.

None of the extra nonsense of the higher priced models. Definitely recommended. If you avoid one ticket it pays for itself.

Good detector without arrows
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have Uniden R1 I thought about buying an R8 but decided that I could live without the arrows not to mention the R8 cost 699 versus the 379.00 that I paid directly to uniden. I missed the previous sale that bestbuy had on it. Overall a good detector and filters blind spot monitors out pretty good. But keep in mind that if the cops are using laser for detection and hits your car and you're speeding youre toast the detector will let you know that you may be getting a ticket. But against all other speed detection methods it will warn you along way down the road. It was worth it to me combine with waze it can be almost as good as using a laser jammer.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I loved my escort i had and it was stolen along with my car i wasnt able to get another for a while so i went and tried the R4 and this is a pretty amazing radar detector and it has saved me several times the KA is the popo and the K is the road signs that detect speed but i teavel quite a bit and it has aaved me so many times i couldnt count i dont have enough fingers and toes but i highly recomend it
