I got this to replace my uniden R3 and ran it simultaneously with an escort 360 as a test. This R4 blew them both out of the water in terms of range. I don’t drive without it!

If you have read the reviews, this is one of the top radar detectors on the market. I upgraded to this from the R3 I think. This is a little bulkier but does provide directional arrows to tell you where the signal is coming from. So far, so good. And not regretting the extra $$120 for this model.

Works as described, alerts around curves and hills and adds the extra second or two needed and long range highway detection. Perfect for slowing down while driving without cruise control or entering small town speed zones. Great job !

Have ran with escort redline and 360 max . Both really good detectors. Bit this thing has blown me away it truly works to good to run in town . Will pick up cops a few blocks away . On highway the range is fantastic . Definitely recommend

Definitely a great purchase! It is a little noisier than the escorts but sitting right beside a escort 360 it was picking up sooner. Will be purchasing another for my other vehicles now.

Had the R3 and replaced it with the R7 what an amazing upgrade with new features.

Watched a few YouTube videos and felt this would be a nice upgrade. I had the $9500 IX passport. This definitely detects sooner and can be set up to be more quiet. Very happy with purchase.

Best radar detector I have ever bought. This thing has saved me from so many tickets. Get a blend mount and youre good to go. I wouldnt buy any other radar if I were on the market. Saving me from those tickets has made this pay itself already.

This is a great radar. The range is excellent and the customization options are plentiful. Out of the box the radar is very chatty. The user will need to go through the settings to adjust sensitivity on the different bands and set cut off points for other bands. This is not a ‘plug and play’ type of radar. Once you fo through the learning curve of setting this radar up, you’ll have a great radar with superior range.

Expensive radar but had great reviews. I have own this product for 1-2 months for now. Ticket free and let just say I have a 392. Grant it I didnt get a ticket either before radar either. State police was out once in middle pretty sure they had a radar on but my detector did not lick him up until after o passed. Good thing my eyes are sharp. Seen him way before hand. I highly recommend this radar detector. It is highly sensitive, which means that I get most alerts long before I am anywhere near the police. This can also be a negative because you will get alerts from police that are miles away sometimes. I prefer this, but some might find that annoying. It is very customizable, but the menu can be a little bit overwhelming. If you have Android Auto, pair this with the Wayz map app for even better protection.

Yeah yeah a great radar detector with gps and a cool display that shows frequency it’s very chatty at 23.xx to 24.xx, my valentine gen 2 is far quieter.,the price at 425 is good e enough to keep kt. Even with the sensitivity turned to 30 percent on k band it talks more bsm varnish’s valentine one.

Ok I am not the most patient driver out there. So I tend to speed and bit more. But this radar detector has saved me numerous times and the best thing about it is the range. I know it's a bit pricey but I do highly recommend it!!

I love this radar detector. It's so quiet that sometimes I forget that I even have it. R7 saved me from speed trap so many times that it paid for it self on my first month owning one. I plan to get a 2nd R7 for my wife because now she also wants one after seeing R7 performance first hand.

I came from having the Valentine One Radar. I used that for 10 years and thought it was the best. I happened upon the R7 after looking at some of the best radars for 2020. Do yourself and pick it up. I couldn't believe the features it had(ex. Red Light Cameras, GPS).

I love in Central Oregon where we have alot of open roads. This detector has a really long range as described. I come from using the R1, the arrows are definitely useful in my opinion. I like the ability to GPS lock locations which are known to have K band so my detector doesnt go crazy.

Best radar detector on the market hands down. Range is amazing, has paid for itself time and time again. Directional arrows are a game changer, I recommend this detector over anything else on the market for true protection.
