Amazing radar detector. Only reason I know about Uniden radar detectors is because of vortexradar (reviewer and website/active community online member) He said this unit was amazing for the $$ and has amazing features and I echo his review (visit his site if you want to know more about this device) make sure when you get it to head over to his site and follow his first time setup guide for optimal settings for best detection in your area (and less annoying sounds from the unit)

I bought this for my Wife`s car. She loves it. Its clear and big display is pretty awesome. I have been a die hard Escort Passport 360 fan and have owned pretty much all the radars they make. My next one will be a Uniden

Little large, good range. Fast response time for ka band.

This radar is the best in the market in my opinion! i have been doing research for over 2 months and I have decided to go with this and i DO NOT regret it! if your thinking about it just go for it

After all the reviews for this radar I decided to purchase it and I have to say that I'm completely satisfied with it.

Works like it should. GPS auto lockouts could be better. I feel like it sometimes forgets the lockout or fails to make it. Regardless it's a good detector and I would buy it again.

Amazing. I have an R3 as well. Now to have this with arrows? Fantastic. It's just a little more sensitive than my R3.

Great product picked up radar the first time used thought it was funny old one never picked up there thought something was wrong with the new detector but no there he was on the side the road

The radar detector works well except for that it has false alerts to blind spot detection and adaptive cruise on mostly from Honda and GM vehicles because the FCC doesn't do their job. The FCC should be eliminated and everyone working at the FCC should be fired on the spot and denied unemployment.

Great detector already saved me a ticket. Its a little chatty at first but after a couple of weeks it quiets down. Would definitely recommend, however if you can live without the arrows the R3 or even the dfr7 are great too.

You're crazy to NOT have this in your vehicle!!! It has saved me more than I can count!! Excellent device - simple to use! Do not worry about the price... it'll save you more $ than it costs probably the first few months you have it!

The BB buying experience left a lot to be desired (1/5). However, the R7 is an outstanding radar detector for sure. With the recent v1.35 software release enabling GPS lockouts, makes for a quite ride!! Love the arrows!

Used it the first time from SF to LA trip. Insane range. Caught two taking Ka band. I'm using the single suction mount, very strong. Hoping to hardwire later. Highly recommended.

I really like the audio features but one or two of the sounds it makes can catch you off guard so it takes some getting used to. Ready to use out of the box but can be modified to suit individual needs.

Best long range radar detector for the money. BSM filtering isn't as good as V1 or other competition imo, but if you're just looking to look out for cops (mostly Ka band) in the neighborhood, this is the one.

This is a great detector. It is light weight, detection range is very good, and the arrows work well. There are more configuration options than every other detector on the market. Firmware is easily updated.

Great purchase. Still learning to use it but it picks up radar in front and behind. It does have small beeps around certain construction sites or phone towers but learning to manage those

Awesome radar, is on the more expensive side. Easily has saved me 5000 dollars in tickets and nights in jail. 5 stars all around
