I only used it for 2 weeks and that's why i cannot say too many good or bad things about it and my star rating is kinda neutral, but on the good side. . It's not a loud radar as some were complaining about, it does filter well enough the false alarms. I would rather call it a quiet ride with it. Now the only few times i encountered police cars with radars on i wasn't impressed with how long before the encounter this radar alerted. Started beeping just before a large curve, when i looked better i could see the police car driving from opposite direction. Only city driving within these 2 weeks and definitely not enough time to give an accurate review. Only way to find out is trying it yourself and if it doesn't work for you, you can always return it given the fact that's an expensive one and the expectation is for stellar performance.

Decent Radar detector however didn't feel like it was worth the money due to the detector still false alerting on the same signal after marking it manually.

Uniden R7 is one of the best Radar detectors on the market very happy with it and would recommend it to anyone looking for a solid Radar

Has saved me cost of unit, especially since many of my coworkers still trip speed cameras on the bridge. I wish updates were more frequent at this price point, but it works well.

Great detection range. After the firmware update it now has auto mute. My only gripe is that after one week it already had a dead strip of pixels. I could return it for that defect, but as long as it doesn't get worse i'll just keep it.

Most up to date version. Make sure to update the software prior to use. This thing has saved me a couple times and worth the peace of mind. Just don't get too confident with this as you are still vulnerable to laser.

working as promised , detected most signals. but you might need to change settings , you can find them online on what to set and which level of changes to be made.

Scanner works amazing after you learn what the settings mean. Love how customizable this radar is and very happy with my purchase.

Arguably, one of the best two radar detectors I found during my research. It lives up to expectations in practice, as well. Great device!

Bought 2 of these! Great product and accurate. Especially like the arrows giving direction as to the alert.

Love this feel very safe with it and works well arrows are the perfect help, and the quality product is expensive but worth it.

This thing is awesome and the fuzz hates it. All I can say is I wanted the best and I got it. I highly recommend this device.

Upgraded from an R3 to the R7. It does everything it says it will do. And as for now, it's been worth every penny!!!

Has multiple options but easy to setup. Works great. Love the suction cup capability + the ability to remove the detector from the suction cup. Excellent product.

Unidentifiable R7 works pretty good but like all detectors prong to false alarms at times. I guess maybe one day they may make a detector that's a little less prong to false alarms.
