It suits me perfectly. If you don’t care about directional arrows (you should care), save some money and go with the Uniden R3.

Upgrade from my old Beltronics

Still need to fine tune the settings, but just made the trip from Ohio to Myrtle Beach and it saved me several times with plenty of notice.

Great High-end Radar

Pricey, but it when it is on sale

Gets constant alerts even after fine tuning and installing latest firmware. Be sure to familiarize your self with each state regulations and what bands they use before you drive.

The direction indicators are helpful but it is the range that impresses. A good option for detectors at the price point.

Bought as a gift

He wanted this particular one as he knows friends that have it and it comes highly recommended.

Nice radar

Definitely useful for a long road trip.
