Absolutely loved this device, gives you ample amount of time to check your speeds when theres a speed check ahead, or when theres radar while traveling down a road from all directions.

Great radar detector. I returned my Escort for it. Escort had way too many false alarms even after programming certain frequencies out. No detector will completely avoid false alarms, but this one does a good job.

I use it every day, it's saved me from countless occasions which could have caused me tickets, very far range and great at detecting if it's real our automatic

Wow I just love this uniden r7 radar detector it is so great it is so sensitive picking up radar I have been picking up the police with radar from 1to over 2 miles away especially on Ka band radar so I love it people go buy one especially if you do a lot of driving and see a lot of cops out.

Best radar detector for the price. Nothing beats this one. Range is excellent and gets rid of false alerts. I've had the r3 but the r7 wins.

What can I even say that hasn't been said about this detector. It truly is one of the best on the market right now, hands down for distance. This should be everyone's go to detector! If the R7 is out of your budget, the R3 is just as good it just doesn't have the arrow option.

If you’re trying to decide on a radar this is the best radar in the market for the money. There’s nothing that really outperforms it on the highway. Updating it is a little problematic but once you figure it out it’s pretty easy. If you have an Apple computer it’s not going to update on that you have to have a PC. I had a redline 360C and while the ability to update via Bluetooth was nice, it did not outperform this at all. I drive to Florida from North Carolina and back every month and this is so consistent and gives you great situational awareness. I consistently get a 2 1/2 mile warning. Best radar detector on the market until Radenso Thea comes out, then we will see if it’s worth the big $$$ it’s going to cost. Find vortex radar on YouTube and you will see what I’m talking about. Oh one more thing, by the two year extended warranty. Absolutely worth it

The radar detector itself is amazing however, newer cars have the lighter cigarette far from the dash. Companies should upgrade their RJ11 cables to RJ11 to USB-C. The conector (cigarette lighter) broke in just less than a month. I’ve been disconnecting and connecting it. But the conector is fragile. For the money you spend I think its not worth it only because of that i gave a 3 star. The main product which is the radar detector is amazing, it’s a peace of mind.

Incredible range for a windshield mounted unit, basically 2 Uniden R3s stuck together. Most Honda radar systems are blocked, but not all. Upgraded from the R3 and very happy with the purchase

I drive 300 mile a week for work. This guy works great. It picks up signals from miles away and tells you what the signal is. Its a little sensitive. But I like that. You get to know what channels to pay attention to. It has already paid for its self in the first week i owed it.

Works exceptionally, would highly recommend as a cheaper alternative to the r8 after side by side testing!

I was going back and forth between this and the 360c. This detector has much better range and when paired with wayz i feel super confident driving how i want to that day.

This thing has amazing distance if I may say this will outperform any of its predecessors and the GPS capability to block out those ignoring alerts. And the ability to configure rated for your particular area. You will not go wrong with this baby on your windshield.

Works amazingly well once you learn the features. It helps know where police are, so you can feel safer on the road knowing they're there. It's like a warm safety blanket giving a cozy, protected feeling. Thanks police for keeping the roads safe!
