Works great for any type of radar that I have come across. Soon I will add the laser shifters and can finally drive with 100% confidence.

This is my second r8 ive bought so far and it makes wonders. I drive from orange county to el paso and this has saved me from so many tickets. Just dont rely to much on the laser feature since all radar scanners say they detect laser, but if you get a laser notification its already to late. This is for all raders, even for this. But still major props to this radar scanner.

I'm very impressed with the range and accuracy of this detector. I can't wait for the integrated laser jammer to hit the market

works great right out of the box i paired it with highway Radar and can change the settings on my phone love it.

Highly reccomend this radar detcetor. Coming from an Escort Max 360 I’ve been blown away with the range. The filtering isnt quite as good as escort, but when paired with the Highway Radar app on an android phone that has a proper profile installed with more blind spot monitoring syster filters applied its amazing. (Check the forums for profiles)

Great product, works wonderful. Has already saved me a few tickets, so it has paid for itself. Only complaint is the window suction cup. I had to order a new one because it kept falling off of my windshield.

Awesome radar detector with great range. Arrows are extremely helpful. Lots of good info online on how to best set up. Bluetooth app is useful add-on to have.

It works very well for me. I also use the R8 app to ensure a quieter drive. However, don't anticipate a setting for every situation. When traveling across states, you may need to utilize other apps. The R8 app can be used in conjunction with the Waze App for added protection. Above all, be caution while speeding—it's not safe!

The price of this product is expensive, however in the long run it will pay off. Its range is incredible, and works perfectly even through carbon tint. I highly recommend downloading the Uniden app on computer and tweaking the radar detector to your liking.

Saved me from 3 speed traps in one day. Legit product, this stuff has some power! I’m happy I made the investment. At first I thought it didn’t work until one morning it saved me from a speed trap in north bay village Florida. Cop was hidden well with multiple motorcycle cops stoping people from all directions. Ever since that day I’ve never questioned the R8!

Best Radar on the market right now! Highly recommend

This is my second one the first didnt work properly and would only detect from a close range about 150 feet away (did update it but there was no difference).But this this second one detected from about a 1/4 mile away and worked perfectly with no updates and no setting changes. Probably would recommend the R7 a little more because of the price
