Totally Worth the Money!!!

The speeding tickets I avoided in the first month alone made it worth the price. The range on this thing is unbelievable. I won't drive anywhere without my R8.

Great Radar Detector

Recently took trip from Los Angeles to Vancover B.C. Radar functioned perfectly. It identified all active radars both coming and going. I highly recommend this for anyone doing a lot of traveling.

I was way over the speed limit and every time it alerted me whenever there was law enforcement around from a very long distance. This is the best radar detector in my opinion. It is a little expensive but let me tell you it is totally worth it.

Great upgrade from my V1 Gen1. Overall Positive

I like the fact you can mute and set auto-mute on K-band radars that are false alerts. Pretty easy to setup by plugging into your computer and even downloading suggested user settings versus trying to go through the radar itself. One thing I have noticed which is similar to my V1 - the rear radar tends to have a longer distance of detecting radar after the cop has passed. The front radar will pick up maybe half a mile away but once I pass the radar will continue going off for about 2 miles. Which is great distance but doesn't help when I already passed.

Does a good job of weeding out the junk and detects radar signals from a good distance away. Highly customizable for your driving habits/area. I was able to purchase an aftermarket Cable to wire it into my review mirror for a very clean installation.

I have had it go of 6 miles ahead. This is the best out there. Worth spending the money. This let you update firmware when Uniden puts it out. No downside on this model.
