If you are in the market for a radar detector, then you know the bit money spent now is worth the money you might lose later. Don’t cheap out and spend money on a detector that doesn’t work.

Awesome replacement for R3
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Upgraded from my R3. Love the directional arrows that signal is coming from. I thought my R3 was great for filtering false alerts, this R8 is AWESOME . Little bigger than R3, but not that noticable.

Great Radar Detector

Seems to have longer range than my Escort redline 360 did and it was real good until the power cable went out.

Great range with some few false alerts.

As a trucker I can’t get any tickets so it helps keep yourself driving responsibly. It does give off more false ka band alert than the R3 but it has better range.

Stopped me from getting a couple of tickets

The only detector to have in “race car”

Have always used Escort in the past. I will not be from now on. This thing is a dream and everything you have read or watched on this product is spot on.

Pretty cool that it can auto mute locations that have been deemed false. I would definitely recommend
