Way better than the Escort Redline 360c

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I 1st bought the Escort Redline 360c and notice it was very laggy and the signal meter was useless on the Redline, everything is full signal even when the radar is far away, I just don't know what I pass the radar source. So I switch to this Uniden R8 and I can tell you its a way better detector. Much faster repsonse and the signal meter fades up as you get closer to the source gives you penlty of time knowing how far you are from the radar source.

Otherwise it’s just false alerts after false alerts because of the sensitivity. Drove 2k miles with it and am going back to the escort 360c mkii because of the fact that it has users constantly uploading and the clarity of the UI on the radar detector itself is easier to understand. The uniden did its just, but I’d say it was definitely more of a hassle to filter than escort.
