Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Uniden R8 I have had it for a month, it really helps me a lot, it has a speedometer with GPS, the laser detects most of the infrared cameras at traffic lights. and it is good for detecting cops, well it has several functions. I'm about to update it with the application that only exists in the App store. The first reason I bought it is because my car's speedometer stopped working and with this I now maintain the correct speed on streets and highways.

No Buyers Regret for choosing the Uniden R8 !

I installed the R8 using BLENDMOUNT and MIRRORTAP products to efficiently manage its footprint and eliminate ugly cabling in cockpit/dashboard.

Just make sure you update it to the latest firmware update as sometimes my compass reads incorrectly, as for the directional arrows and different bands, completely 100% flawless, detects every signal, there is in the vicinity of any importance to you with a excellence! filters out garbage and sounds of threats❣️

Really great

My biggest complaint which Isn't that big of a deal but it bugs me. Is that the user manual does not fit in the carrying case that they give you. Like I said not that big of a deal. Somewhat tricky to update it. Just had to watch a couple YouTube videos.
