I spent time troubleshooting, hoping it was a minor issue, only to confirm it was completely faulty. By the time I reached out, I was just 5 days past Best Buy’s ridiculously short 15-day return window—and their response? Refusal to exchange or replace it. Instead, they pushed me into a manufacturer warranty repair, which means I now have to wait 3-4 weeks for a fix on a brand-new, non-functioning item. This is completely unacceptable. A reputable retailer should stand by the products they sell—not leave customers with a useless device and a long wait time for repairs. If you buy from Best Buy, be warned: they do not care about customer satisfaction once your 15-day return period is over. Even if they sell you a defective item, they will not make it right. I’ve spent thousands at Best Buy in the past, but after this experience, I’ll be taking my business elsewhere. Save yourself the frustration and shop somewhere with better policies and customer service.

This rendered a lot of features like auto-lockouts unusable. Best Buy was wonderful with the return process, and I replaced it with another brand I have been very happy with.
