I am giving this a 4 star because it doesn't lay flat when its on a surface. The kickstand, which I do use and like has a notch on it that keeps it from laying flat so when I am taking notes it will rock if I don't hold it still. Other than that its a good solid case. I have a glass screen protector on it and my ipad still fits in it without any issues.

This is a very sturdy case and has a place to store the pencil. The clear back lets the color of the iPad show through. Also has a kick stand so it will stand up, but the kick stand looks like it could be broken off if you weren't careful. Mine is fine.

Everyone asks where I got this case! Design is very clean and rugged. The main reason I bought it was because of the pen holder. The pen isn’t going anywhere once you place it In the holster. The case also has a nice kickstand in the back to prop it for watching movies or using it as a screen. The only thing I had to do was buy a screen protector. Love this case!!

It's lightweight and thin. Having the back clear allows me to see my stickers. Has a strong pencil holder

I was not amuse by the design at the beginning because I wanted something more girly, but I bought it because the previous covers (2) did not fit right. I take my iPad with me to work and on vacation and this case holds amazing and the pencil does not need a extra case. My daugther and boyfriend have asked for the same cover because of the looks and how well fits and protects the pencil.

The case is just okay. I wish the apple pen holder was removable. This case doesn’t work well with screen protectors it actually pops them up. Also the quality of the case is just okay. I can pull it apart and the stand is weak

Decided to go with this case so our daughter would be less likely to break the new iPad. So far it’s not broken! The kick stand works great although I worry about it breaking due to it being plastic but so far it’s gotten quite a bit of stress out on it and it too has not broken.

Fits the use perfectly, used in a vehicle mount and was concerned about the pen holder interfering, it doesn’t and having the pen attached makes sense, haven’t lost one since:)

It protects perfectly and has a sturdy look and feel but is lightweight and allows for usability without feeling cumbersome. Very happy with the purchase.

I bought one of these cases for my son’s iPad and given the conditions of my old case, bad corners, I decided to give it a shot. I am glad that I did. My only concern with this case was if I would still be able to use my Apple keyboard And once I read a previous review where a gentleman typed about how he does, I ordered it. It is small enough to not be cumbersome when carrying your iPad and convenient with the stand. I have had no issues thus far.

Great case and easy to install, I only wish this had screen protector like some of their other models. It works ok with apples screen protector.

My kids have broken two iPads. These cases are lightweight easy to put on and seem to be doing well.

Does what it says it will. A little hard to open Smart Cover with this case on, but I feel that the IPAd is safe.

My son (now 13) has dropped an iPad that had lessor protection and caused considerable damage. When I purchase him a new iPad I made sure I purchased better protect than before. He is a little older now but I have seen him accidentally drop the new one. Thanks to this protective case, no damage was done.
