Urbanears has blown me away. I've owned numerous bluetooth speakers. Brands from BOSE, JBL, Harmon Kardon, Beats, ION, JLabs, Sony, UE, House of Marley, etc... None compare to this one! In the $199 price range there is a lot of competition, but Urbanears managed to make theirs stand out from the crowd. With it's stylish look, great sound quality, great battery life, and features, this is by far the ONLY speaker that you should consider purchasing in this price range. Punchy bass, mids and highs are clear and present. It does not distort at higher volumes like other Bluetooth speakers normally do. It's nice that multiple devices can be connected at once as too. Water resistant so it can be used by the pool as well. I honestly couldn't find anything I did not like about it yet. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone I know or anyone that asks about it!

I am IMPRESSED with the urbanears! Never owned one and im not a musically inclined person but know how to use bluetooth. I use this at home and at work and haven't used it enough to comment on the charge time but it seems to be spot on from what is advertised. THE SOUND!!!! Wow, was not expecting it to sound so good especially if you turn up the volume. It is really excellent. I was using an older smaller speaker before but I found the one that will be using for a very very long time! The color (mist Gray) is alot more subtle and nice looking then what I thought it would be. Overall very happy

First of all, let me say, this speaker sounds great. I tried it on a veriety of music styles, including new age, classic rock and classical and it handled all of them. Controls are minimal, on top you have a back button, play/.pause, a forward button and volume down and up. On the side you have the power button and a bluetooth button. Pairing your device is quick and easy, the bluetooth connection seems to be very solid. The bluetooth range is excellent, with the music device at one end of the house, the speaker kept a strong connection throughout the two story building. The only thing that caused me to downgrade the speaker is its weight. 6 lbs doeesn't sound like much but it stops it from being a "throw it in your backpack and take off" kind of speaker. It would be ideal for outdoor events like picnics or family gatherings, where you set the speaker down and leave it. It has plenty of volume and battery power to make it perfect for outdoor gatherings.

My wife and I have been shocked - not just by how much sound this speaker puts out, but how quality that sound is. We couldn’t believe our ears when we first set it up, and ended up spending almost an hour throwing songs of all genres and a few podcasts at it to see if there were any weak spots. Full disclosure, I am a professional audio engineer. I notice a slight bit of harshness in the 7.5-8k range, but that’s it. Everything else I’ve put through this speaker is crystal clear. The pairing process was as simple as any other Bluetooth speaker I’ve used, and the battery life has been great so far. We are very pleased with this speaker so far, and if you’re looking for HomePod quality audio without the Apple Tax, this will get you about 90% of the way there.

This 7" by 7" speaker was easy to connect to my Apple phone. Can control the volume and move forward or backward in my playlist on my phone or the speaker. The volume is substantially louder than the phone - just what we need for the patio.
