Great digital novel, better battles than the first, good strategizing. Highly recommended if u like RPG w/ story line

The battle system was awesome and the amount of playing time was great.

This is the continuation of Utawarerumono: Mask of Deception. You really shouldn't play this unless you've finished the first as a lot of the characters and situation in the world is built on the previous game. Again it's a strategy game but heavy on text as a visual novel to get the story and characters information across. It's a great continuation of the previous game and a excellent end for the Utawarerumono series as it brings in all the elements from the previous works. The original Utawarerumono story was only released as an Anime in the US.

The sequel delivers a massive story. There are a lot of fun battles. Half visual novel and half strategy rpg.

I love this game but I have ordered this edition a few times from best buy and every single time it has come damaged. The employees must be very rough when packaging this item. There is almost no chance you will get this game undamaged. Other than that its a great game

Story is good but slow to start. Game is very dialog heavy and laces short battles (gameplay) between the story events. This is a graphic novel that has some gameplay elements.

This is more like a novel game. Too much conversation and not enough srpg.

Atlus delivers on its continuation to the Mask of Deception. Also, awesome bonus physical goodies in the box.

Utawarerumono is a fun game with a great story. Highly recommended for rpg lovers.

Fun JRPG to play, I enjoyed the game and gameplay.

If you had played the Mask of Deception, then this is a direct continuation of that story. If you hadn't, then you want to consider doing so because you may not be getting the full benefits of playing the story.

If you've already invested the 40+ hours required to complete Mask of Deception, it's worth jumping into Mask of Truth to see how everything plays out. I had similar complaints about Deception, where the more interesting story elements are few and far between and I wish there was more of the series' enjoyable grid-based battles.

Hard to recommend this outside of the fanbase since you did need to play the previous 2 game really.

Haven't gotten too far in yet, but it's a different take on the typical amnesia story.

I love Japanese Rpgs and the stories are always good
