My son loves fortnite and we bought this gift card. I think buying things is fortnite is a waste of money but, my son requested this for Christmas, this was the most expensive card and we bought it.

My son loves getting vbucks for Fortnite like any player does.

I know now. It seems that the game play, rather than getting more difficult with each level conquered, requires things that you can't get through regular play. You use V-Bucks to buy your way to better weapons or skins or armor os something. The ONLY way to advance is by purchasing items with your V-Bucks. It seems like a scam of sorts, having no way to advance unless you purchase more goodies. Then you advance and discover that, once again, you need to spend even more V-Bucks to gain the next round. And more for the next. And more for the next. And more..
