    Incredible Sound, Amazing Quality

I researched a new set of headphones for months and decided on these before I'd ever even tried a pair on. Luckily I was able to find a physical pair to try out and, 10 seconds after pumping some music through them, I was sold. These sound amazing.. even moreso if you're a bass-head or enjoy making listening to your music more "fun." The sound is very accurate and presents the broadest range of tonality I've ever hear from a set of headphones. What's even better is that they aren't gigantic cans. They are a very reasonable (almost smallish) size for the sound and bass they produce. Which, coupled with they folding design and provided case, makes them very portable. The only minor nick at all to my ratings is comfort and that is only because I wear these for 4-5 hours at a time and I haven't quite broken them in yet so the overall pressure exerted on my head is noticeable after 3 or 4 hours. The padding on the cups is very soft and they almost cover my entire ear making them very comfortable and providing excellent passive noise reduction. Swappable cords (with plenty of length) are an excellent feature as is the ability to buy custom plates for anyone who likes a personalized look. Are they pricey? Somewhat given other options that are out there BUT, try them on and hear for yourself. I can't recommend these incredible headphones enough.. if you're on the fence.. go for it!

I am blown away by how amazing these headphones sound. I am not an expert by any means, But I understand now why it is so important to have a good set of cans. I use these every chance I get. Because they sound better then any other option I have for audio. I actually have to upgrade some of my music now, because I have a lot of downloaded music and I can hear the low quality(lower bit rate/smaller file size) songs in a way that I have never heard before. I feel some of the price tag is for the ability to customize the headset, But that's okay because the sound is literally the best I have ever heard from headphones. AND they give you the option of custom printing your own logo on the plates on the side...I think that is pretty awesome. I bought these specifically for use with my PlayStation virtual reality headset. With the headset on, they are the most comfortable cans I have ever worn (the headset prevents them from putting full pressure on my ears, while still making a great seal), and mixed with the sound quality, I have fallen in love with them. When NOT using the PlayStation Virtual Reality headset, they get a little uncomfortable due to the fact that I wear glass's. ALL headphones are uncomfortable when you wear glass's. I would highly recommend the larger padded ear cups, as I am a small guy and I need to get the larger ear cups myself. But again, this is due to wearing glass's. Without them the headphones are fantastic for a smaller frame. they are smaller then I expected, and this was a pleasant surprise. But they are sturdy as heck. Mostly metal. Feel great. Really feel and look like you got your moneys worth. They 'creak' very little, which is very important to me. I believe the more I break them in the less noise they make when I move around. SUPER nice hard case. Instantly makes you think of batman's armor. Comes with a cool cable that has another headphone jack built into the cable itself, so you can plug someone in to what you are listening to at any time. I really like that. I seriously cannot compare them to much. But I can say they are worth every penny. I am extremely happy with my purchase. They also have a replacement plan. If I break them for any reason, send em back and get another pair for half price. I am good with that. I have ONLY one negative point. The cables from the ear cups to the bottom of the headband are on the outside of the frame, due to the design. I'm sure you can see this in the photos online, but I didn't notice it at time of ordering. This creates a weak point. if the ear cup gets spun around 180 degrees with enough force, it could definitely damage the internal connection.

I spent a lot of time researching the best headphones for the value. I considered various models from Beats, Sennheiser, Monster, Polk, Bose, B&W, etc. Ultimately, I was looking for an headphone that I could wear during work hours, flights, workouts or just for general listening pleasure. These fit the bill for me given the price, the extra share cable, durability, build quality, housing, phone feature, folding feature and warranty. I couldn't find a better pair for the money. One thing to note is the headphones for me fit snug, but not snug enough that I couldn't wear for several hours. The snug fit allowed me to workout in them in both vertical and horizontal positions and they stayed in place. When comparing other brands what I noticed is they are all fairly decent when you source is a phone or digital media player. I suggest the addition of a DAC (Digital Audio Converter) to any source to really get the most out of these headphones.

I've had these headphones for about a month now. I didn't find them comfortable with the stock pads so I ordered the XL pads. These pads improved the comfort level substantially and also had a marked improvement on the sound quality as well. With the larger pads, the midrange opened up and there was more energy in the upper midrange and lower treble area. Before I upgraded the pads, the bass was great but the headphones sounded dull on certain material. Not anymore. The XL pads solved that problem. These headphones sound great for EDM and movies as well. I also own a pair of Sennheiser HD 600 which are better overall but they don't have anywhere near the impact on the low end as the M100's. I paid $150 so I'm very happy with the purchase. If you're going to buy these, do yourself a favor and get the XL pads (Best Buy doesn't sell them but they are widely available elsewhere for $20 on the web). I almost returned them until I tried them with the larger pads. Without them, they just aren't comfortable enough (at least for me).

I purchased this at 269.99 and the sound quality for the price was worth it in my opinion. Its produces tight punchy bass without it being overwhelming but this also causes the mids to be slightly recessed. My biggest issue was that the earcups are a little shallow and your ear touches the speaker and it can be quite irritating after an hour or two. However, there are several mods you can do to make it more comfortable (google paper towel mod m100). Other than that, it was a good buy for the price.

I have been previously using bose ie2s (which is prettyyy awesome for a regular pair of headphones) and non-expensive headphone in the past.(not an audiophile). While checking out some cans at bestbuy I noticed that sony's xb950ap on display did have great bass response but the high frequencies seemed slightly harsh and overall sound was muddy as compared to Bose's QC25(which lacked bass for my liking). So sony incited my interest but after extensive research online and going through 1000s of reviews I finally took the plunge with V-moda m100 (though initially I felt they were slightly overpriced for the overall sound quality after reading reviews but thinking that I would save money in the long run by not having to replace it due to its durability and also that I had 60 dollars worth of bestbuy rewards from prior purchases, I went for it what the heck :D ). Here are my 2 cents on its pro's and cons: PROS: Sound was really spectacular from what I had heard earlier or expected, even compared to bose QC25 it more punchy with crystal clear bass and treble, mids were nice-not muddy. The soundstage is decent overall- not small ( from what I understand the closed cans usually have a smaller soundstage), try a few hans zimmer or indigo choras stuff on youtube to be blown away. Treble is not harsh at all, even at higher volumes. I would highly recommend it to any one looking for a decent(read-awesome) pair of headphones under 300 dollars, bass in not overpowering, they are REALLY a FUN pair of headphones, would make you listen to genres of music you haven't tried in the past. PS: It does required Burn-in time, I used random EDM playlist for 24hrs on high volume and since then the sound has been getting smoother gradually as time passes and bass seems to be more punchy, well defined. Also, my initial impression during 1st 30 mins of listening was kinda disappointing since the sound quality didn't seem to justify the price, but after burn-in time these babies sound amazing. I am glad I did not prematurely return these. CONS: My biggest complaint is lack of option to choose XL earpads from the get go. V-MODA SHOULD COME UP WITH A XL MODEL FOR THESE HEADPHONES!!!. Hope V-moda is listening since its been 2 years since the launch and this has been the single biggest complaint. Regular pad can hurt your ear after 4-5 hrs max , paper towel mods helps temporarily until you get your XL pads. SUMMARY: Awesome, Great looking and Sturdy pair of headphones, slightly expensive for price and built by by around 50 dollars. Great introductory pair of headphones for modern music-lovers( EDM, rock, hip hop genre) listeners and not for hardcore audiophiles which seem to be fixated on balanced sound since it definitely sounds bassy for their taste. It does pretty well on other genres like jazz and classical music but people with that kinda taste will probably be better off with sennheiser momentum. (In the meantime audiophiles can enjoy their amped Beats and Skullcandies, while we enjoy real music, buhahaha)

I purchased these headphones a little over a month ago, and they are by far the best headphones I've purchased. The build quality is the number one thing about these, and most importantly, V-Moda sells replacement parts (I even purchased a boom mic for these from their website also so that they can double as a gaming headset). The cable is braided and durable, the band is flexible, and the sound quality is great. I tested these in-store at the Magnolia Theater section and there were a pair of Sony headphones that sounded slightly clearer than the M-100s, but they were about $100 more than these. Also, they're customizable (the plate on the earcup can be exchanged with a variety of plates from their website). What really made me buy these was the price; at the time, they were on sale for $248, but I got them for $220 after price matching. These sound great AND look great.

I recently purchased an LG V20 smartphone while has an amazing 32 bit hifi dac and amp, and suddenly I realized it was time to upgrade my 6 and 1/2 year old Dr. Dre Beats Studio headphones. After about 3 weeks of research online and test driving some great headphones ( B&W P7's, Sennheiser Momentum 2's, Sony MDR 1000x to name a few), I went with the V- moda's. These are the best over ear closed back headphones (south of a thousand dollars) PERIOD! They need to be played at pretty high volume for a few hours initially to "break them in". They sound great from the start, but after breaking them in they come alive. Also, I ordered the XL Memory Cushions and not only are they more comfortable for extended listening sessions, but the soundstage is a bit wider. I am listening to familiar music from every genre come to life like never before. I could not be happier with this purchase!

Haven't had them long, but very pleased with this purchase in this price range. Nicest listening cans I've owned at a very reasonable price. Slightly bass-heavy, but very clear mids and highs. Staging and clarity are very good for cans in this price range. I use this daily for music and taking calls on a mobile phone, and so far the performance has been superb. Would definitely recommend in this price range.

The V-Moda crossfade M-100, has everything I wanted in a set of headphones. The audio quality is amazing, and well balanced. Using them on my PC, game audio and voice is crstal clear, without the bass boominess that is all too common in other products. The set was on sale at Best Buy for $149. At that price, I was hard pressed to find a better pair of headphones that came even remotely close. The over-the-ear cups are snug, blending out ambient noise, but comfortable enough to wear for hours. The included cable was a bit short for my purpose, so I did ultimately get the longer "coiled" cable. I have absolutely no regrets on this purchase, just an exceptional buy.

I spent a long time searching for the right headphones and these have exceeded my expectations in every way. The range on these headphones is outstanding and they provide plenty of bass when required. Most other headphones I have tried either succeeded in delivering a wide range without much bass or delivering bass without range. The V-Moda's deliver on both range and bass without a price tag of $800+. Before trying these out I was afraid that I was going to be spending more than $1000 on a set of headphones, but these have been great. I listen to a wide variety of music and these have not let me down. Another huge plus is that they fold up nice and come with a small case that makes them easy to take with you.

Let me start by saying that I use these for my computer mostly for gaming and music. The bass on them is absolutely fantastic, it is miles above that of any of the gaming headsets offered by Best Buy. The music sound quality is also phenomenal and offers a unique listening that is not offered by other headphones in a similar price range. They feel insanely durable and are quite comfy (the XL cushions are a must, without them they hurt my ears quite a bit). I wear these for hours on end and never seem to have any issues.

An by "option" I mean I am a highly discriminating audiophile and find myself now using these on a regular basis. I have spent SERIOUS $$$$ on earphones and headphones. The V-Moda was recommended to me by a non music pro and I almost didn't give them a listen. Form factor, compact size, and case very attractive for travel. Built quality is astonishing for the price. Sound is really good. For me the low end must be tight and crisp. At moderate and high volumes I feel it lacks some clarity in the midrange and highs, but probably accetable to most. Nothing compares to my original Beats Pro's (except if we're talking my $2K custom J's IEM's) but these will be with me for a while. The Beats are just too heavy for travel. I have listened to and owned a LOT of headphones. These will always rank in my top 5.

I bought and returned three pairs of headphones before landing on these. I had researched all of my purchases up to and including these. I was looking for a pair of headphones that were clear and had a good amount of bass. These have great bass and are very clear even with the bass and treble settings set at a higher rate. They are very comfortable around the ears and on top of the head. The price of these headphones are a little high for the average consumer, but I have no regrets spending some extra money especially when some of the trendier companies products do not even come close to the level of quality build, comfort, and sound of these headphones.

After researching headphones I decided I would buy either Parrot Zeiks which sound incredible but many people said it only sounds good using it's bluetooth connection not good at all wired. V Moda crossfade 100 sound natural and extremely clear, the bass is powerful and good enough for me but I hear if you need more bass you should buy beats headphones. With these headphones you should only listen to FLAC sound files or any other type of uncompressed cd quality music.

The sound is incredible. I bought the extra large pads from V-Moda because after a long period of time my ears were not comfortable with the ones they came with (So maybe I have big ears, but I'm not the only one that needed to do this) which is why I gave it a 4 for comfort. I would have given them a 5 for comfort if I didn't have to pay for the larger pads. The analog noise isolation is not for jet planes although I use them as such because the Bose 20i were not comfortable for me. The Bose QC15 just didn't sound as good. I actually went to Best Buy to return the V-Moda because of my disappointment with the noise from my flight but when I tested the QC15's I was disappointed with the sound quality and kept the V-Moda's.

I reviewed quite a few over the ear headphones before deciding upon the V-MODA - CROSSFADE M-100. The sound quality is amazing. After only listening to music for a short time, I felt that for the first time I was hearing music the way it was meant to be heard. Each song seemed to have been digitally remastered because I was now experiencing clarity I had never heard before. They are very comfortable over the head and over the ears. They offer a unique styling unlike all of the other headphones people are wearing on the street. The reviews live up to their hype.

Never heard anything like these, mix them in with the fiio e17 and BOOM. The sound from it, bass, the highs, it all bashes together to create some amazing headphones. And i love the fact that they can be customized. I gave it 4 stars because of the fact that the xl earcups are not an option to be switched when buying these, the normal earcups are for small ears. Everything else is just another plus, the cliqfold extra wires and the flexible headband.

I have used probably 20-30 different headphones personally and have been to CES twice and reviewed dozens of headphones there as well... These things take the cake. These absolutely sound night and day better than Beats or other "high end" headphones. I also went to VMODA's website and purchased custom shield kits for these for some added flare!
