Comfortable, great sound, good battery life, for the price, but headphones to get

I own a pair of V-Moda Crossfade M-100s. At first, I loved them. Great sound, comfortable, and look good as well. But that didn’t last. After about 3 years, the material on then headband started flaking off. And now the ear pads are coming apart as well. I paid $300 for these and expected them to last like my Sennheiser HD600s have lasted (have had these for over 15 years and they are as solid as ever). I contacted customer service, giving them links to the many forums and reviews where others have had the same experience with their products disintegrating and falling apart. Their best offer was 50% off on another set. So, do I want to through $150 at something I know will begin to fall apart within 3 years? Nope! I’ve see their newer stock and then materials look exactly the same to me. V-Moda needs to listen to their customers and fix this. Upshot, I will never buy from them again and suggest that others can do much better elsewhere. If you look around, you will find many reviews complaining about the quality of materials, poor quality workmanship, poor support when it comes to replacing parts that are problematic, etc. While these look and sound great, I'd avoid.

My first major headphone purchase and I'm impressed. I was searching for a decent pair that wouldn't cost a lot. I'd never heard of this brand before but they were on the clearance rack and I was curious. I was pleasantly surprised by how great they are.

I'm really liking these headphones. Wanted over the ear headphones that can be Bluetooth and can be used with a cord. And these are really light to the point I fell asleep with these on with minimal headache/earache. Also ordered the VModa boom mic so I can also use these when I game on my PC with my friends.

I compared these to others in the price range including, Beats and Sony. I prefer the style and construction quality vastly over both. Only real down side and reason for 4 stars is that the ear cups are a bit hard and can become uncomfortable after long sessions. Also works well as a gaming headset when you purchase the Boom Pro Microphone.

These headphones produce great sound and shine with higher bit rate music (Spotify, Tidal, etc.). I have noticed muddled base on low bit rate tracks (basic free Pandora). I also bought these on a discounted rate since the Crossfade II came out. In summary the great sound on the high res plus the price point is the reason for the 4 stars.

These are amazing. The sound is like candy for the ears. Great build quality, great accessories. Makes beats and Sony look and sound bad. Only things missing is noise cancelling, but you will not miss that. The best headphones that I have bought ever.

My grandson is Autistic and lives for his computer - but plays it so loud! These were easy to set up and pair with his computers and he seems to love them!! Sound is good quality!! Very satisfied!

Love the crossfade wireless. It's like having music play inside your head. They are well built, very sturdy. The warranty is great. Recommend the extra large cushions.

Clamping force on these headphones was a bit tight for long use. Sound stage emphasized bass with too much taken from the midrange frequency.

I have a relatively inexpensive set of wireless headphones, and wanted to find something with superior sound. Looking at other reviews, and the published specs, I had high hopes that these headphones would reproduce full audio spectrum fairly evenly. However, that is not the case. The bass was full, mids were fairly smooth, and not harsh, but after midrange, the upper range just rolled off until the cymbals were barely heard. Not an even balance through the audio spectrum. Sadly they are going to be returned.
