I was in for a real surprise with this game. I purchased it because the other reviews sounded pretty good... not great... but I thought I'd pick it up and I haven't been disappointed.

Vk4 has a wonderful story with quality character history and development. With a variety of maps and enemies, you will be changing your squad and their tactics for each one.

I have the original on my ps3 and remaster on my ps4 but i needed to get the proper sequel on the switch because its perfect to play on the go since im barely home due to work. also got the premium edition to support the game beacuse i want more games from this series and it comes with some dlc missions that are linked to the first game...artbook is awesome...little model tank is nice and has details and the game comes with japanese voice track free...joycon skins...and the game has free cosmetic dlc in the eshop...also NO DAY ONE UPDATE and the whole game is on the cart!!! i want to support this game “lets get it done”

I liked the game but loved the price. I bought this because it comes with a little model tank. It also comes with more extras. Can’t beat the price.

It was nice to see that I was able to get the special edition of this game, otherwise; I would not have bought it! Nice for Fire Emblem and Advance Wars fans.

Great game, very similar to the first in the series. if you havent played 2 and 3, this is your best bet to try a great classic sega real time based strategy game

Was waiting for this game to drop in price I happened to snag it for only 40 dollars so at this price the game is amazing for what I got It for.

When Valkyria Chronicles came out on the PS3, I was amazed at the fresh and modern take it took on the turn based tactics genre. It manages to blend perfectly the strategy of traditional top down tactics games with the excitement of first person battle. Planning and executing attacks is mentally engaging and very exciting. Even though the game is very similar to the first, that’s mostly a good thing. Furthermore, they add new units and features that open up more strategic options and mix things up a bit. Definitely recommended to fans a new comers alike!

This game like its original is turn based but then goes into a 3rd person perspective. You still have to aim your weapons and deploy units I is very similar to chess with a lot more explosives. It's not an action game but it's a very fun thinking game with some action elements.

Good addition to a good series, and honestly, this is how companies should do collector's editions.

So your interested in this game huh? Well I got good news and some semi okay news. If you like Fire Emblem and Anime you'll love this, if you like neither then avoid it. My minor gripe with the game is a few chapters in the difficulty spikes big time. Love, JJR

This collectors edition is awesome for any collector. The game itself is also a lot of fun and another great game in the series.

Definitely the game goes back to where it starts, which is good. Currently only half way though the game. Looks great for now.

Valkyria Chronicles is one of my favorite franchises. It features a compelling story and draws you in for the long haul

Valkyria Chronicles games are great!. I'm glad they finally released a sequel. I hope they release 2 & 3 for Switch

Very underrated strategy game. A very interesting take on military turn-based combat.

Feels good to return to classic Valkyria Chronicles. The story is great so far. Nice optimizations that make managing a large army of characters efficient and not overwhelming. Visuals are excellent and it feels perfect as a handheld experience.

One of the best strategy titles on the switch. Good to see this series getting more recognition across platforms.

pick this up on sale was great deal for the price. haven't play it yet so cant give it better review

VC4 is tactical heaven. Turn based battles are fun and I really cared about the characters. Recommended.
