    This game is for die hard Valkyrie Profile fans. The combat mechanics make it play almost like a platinumgames title. If this is your first venture into the Valkyrie Profile universe, I suggest starting with the first few games and come back to this after.

    It was ok definitely not worth the asking price. Game was extremely short and the story was lacking. The only thing this game has going for it was the combat and it was very addictive. Wait for a sale!!!!

    This isn’t the best iteration of this series but it’s not fair to judge a game based solely on its prequels. This is a good game. It’s drags at times but it’s a solid RPG from Square

    Had tons of fun. I honestly crave more games like this. 100+ hour, AAA games are great, but sometimes I want to play something in a smaller scale. This was more contained, it was fun and I finished it within ~40 hours (with all trophies)

    This integration into the game amazing on ps5. The gameplay and the graphics are truly something to to experience in the next gen arena.

    Unlike Lenneth, this game is just another typical hack and slash adventure. The franchise used to tell great stories about each einherjars but they just make it unappealing. Im 55% complete on the main quest and I only have 3 einherjars and you can only summon (yes, summon) 2 at a time. No purify arts. Boring dialogue. Graphics are ps3 level good. I regret buying this not for the money but for the potential it could have been compared to its predecessors.

    I would rate the game itself 7 out of 10. Nonetheless Valkyrie Profile fans may enjoy it. Free DLC is also coming this November so that's a plus.

    a game I needed to have, a franchise I love, and I'm not disappointed at all! Everything you were looking for as a fan of the saga is here! if you are a FF lover do not stop playing it

    For an action adventure rpg it’s pretty good. Not really what I wish it was as a long time fan, but still a good game nonetheless!

    Good game. I had my doubts about it but ended up getting it when it went on sale for 29$. Don’t regret it and have been playing it nonstop.
