Steam is a digital software delivery platform. You can buy & download games through it (assuming you have a speedy, bandwidth non-capped internet connection). Steam OFTEN runs games on sale, particularly around the holidays, so getting one of these cards to have credit to just purchase and download a game is very convenient. Most games are on there or make it to steam eventually other than a few that some developers restrict to their own platforms (Diablo springs to mind as one of the few). There are also a TON of indie games (developed by small game publishers) that are absolutely great that tend to be very inexpensive (often under $10) that you will likely next have heard of before.
Can't recommend enough.

What can you say about the smile a Steam card provides your sons? This is a favorite gift as they can use it for their choices and not what mom or dad think are cool current games. Of course we have final say but I digress. Easy to find and good value.

Great place to buy steam cards only wish they didn’t put a limit of four. Other retailers charge more than face value which is wrong I’m my own personal opinion.

- Made of a decent card stock, not too flimsy
-Printed well too. A nice shade of blue
-Complete with a hole a top for easy hanging
-Amount printed on the card was in fact the same amount for which it was redeemed, so no false advertising
All in all, my life was mildly enriched by the purchase experience. 5/5

It does exactly as advertised, you buy stuff with it! The best kind of stuff such as digital games that you got on that one steam sale and will probably sit in your library and never get played. You can even use these to buy a steam deck that can also store your games you will probably never play too. If you also like buying games that you will never play, then this is the product for you!

Good deal when you get it during the holidays using a Best Buy card while being on their gamer reward zone and then 25 free points for this review. Not sure what it adds up to, but I usually like to wait to buy Steam cards from Best Buy to maximize points compared to buying from Steam directly, then use that Steam card on games that are at least 75% off. You can get a ton of games for not much money and then potentially have some Best Buy Reward Zone points waiting for you. Buying games can get expensive. If you want to be honest and pay for them (you should, people invest their time and lives into making these games and you wouldn't give what you do for a living away for free), this is a great way to get games cheap and honest. I'm sure there are better ways, but this is easy. Can't believe I had so much to say about a Steam card.
