purchased this for my 18 yr old son. was a good alternative and a bit more personal for him than a generic gift card. no "activations fee" and he can use it for online gaming purchases to buy video game he then keeps (like buying the one in the box).

I think Steam gift cards are better than Apple gift cards any day of the week !

Not really much to be said for virtual currency these days but Steam is a good place to get games and Best Buy does make it convenient for people who either don't have or don't want to have a credit card on file with Steam. Their cards are pretty self-explanatory and easy to redeem.

Best Buy offers a variety of gift cards. I ran out of time as of didn’t know what to pick a birthday gift for a little nephew. I was amazed of how much Best Buy has to offer.

This is an awesome way to give a friend a gift. You buy the card, use it on your own Steam Account, then buy a game for a friend that has their own Steam Account so you can play together. Great way to spend time with friends, distance doesn't matter!
