It's a gift card. For Steam. You scratch off the strip on the back, enter the numbers into Steam while signed in to your Steam account, and the money appears in your Steam Wallet. I wish they'd make these available electronically. Would be nice to have the option if you're buying it for yourself. The carbon footprint is pretty ridiculous when you consider every aspect of the transaction, from purchase at Best Buy to redemption in the Steam client, happens in the ether. Maybe someday...

This is a great gift for all gamers! My son loved it. It is not a gift that will sit in a drawer. He will get months of fun from it.

Not much can be said, these steam cards are self explanatory. You can use these if you don't want to use your credit card or debit card or if you don't have either. Just make sure whoever scans the card at the register, scans it correctly. Sometimes their can be issues were the card didn't get scanned correctly at the register, and when it comes time to redeem it comes up with an error. This has happened to me twice so fyi.

Grabbing one of these cards from the check out at Best Buy is a super easy and convenient last minute stocking stuffer for any gamer. These make a great gift at christmas because steam has a winter sale the week of Christmas. Gift cards allow gamers to choose what games they want to buy themselves. I love it when I get one of these in my own stocking. Very easy to load the card onto steam. Any gamer would love these cards.

Steam is an excellent company to buy games from. They have so many games to choose from I give my kids steam cards for their birthday Christmas every occasion and sometimes when they have the steam sales you get them for almost nothing great place to buy games

Bought 2 steam gift cards for Christmas gifts to my kids. When scratching off silver cover over barcode, the code removed with cover and took a dozen times of entering code to get it right. So that was frustrating.

Fabulous giftcard! I was able to exchange it for the full $20 amount for downloads on Steam. The material seems durable, although I threw it away as soon as I redeemed it, so I can't say how long the card would last. The graphics and labeling on the card helped to fully clarify that you are buying a $20 amount to use on Steam, and not $100 to spend at Chilis. Great card all around.

Steam is the best platform to buy pc games at a cheap price. The best sales to look for are summer and winter sales.
