My husband doesn't have a disk drive in his computer, so we were trying to find the best way to purchase a digital copy of a PC game while still using Best Buy. It's hard to write a gift card. It is made of cardboard and plastic and has some numbers to be scratched off and makes money appear on Steam when used. I do like that it was available at Best Buy, because that is far more convenient than waiting for a gift card through the mail. Also like that there is no up charge for gift cards anymore when you buy them in the stores.

I got this card for my husband for Christmas. He plays games from Steam, and with this card he was able to download two good games. Instead of buying a game (and risking that he might not like it and will have to return), this card gave me an opportunity to give him something he really likes, and at the same time gave him a chance to chose what he wants. Result = everyone is happy!
