Keeping your credit card information in an online store to be able to get games whenever you want sure is convenient. Finding your wallet empty because you bought every game on steam is not so convenient. So setting a budget of what you'll spend on video games and buying a steam card for that amount really is a great way to keep yourself from buying that hot new AAA title at release, especially since it'll be marked down in a few months anyways. And really, steam has so many high quality games on sale for a few dollars or less that a $100 would make an awesome gift for any pc gamer, especially ones that give you tips on budget friendly gaming in the review section of your favorite tech store.

Steam gift cards are awesome and I use these to purchase items and skins on Counterstrike. The purchase went smooth at my local BestBuy and the service and attitude was awesome. The activation was easy and smooth, loaded onto my CSGO without an issue. Thank you BestBuy.

Annual Christmas gift for my gamer (adult) kid. It’s easier than trying to figure out specific games. Plus, there are games only on the Steam platform. This allows him to choose what he wants.

I have no clue what these are, but I know that when I give them as gifts, the kids love them. I get $20 ones to keep around for whenever an extra gift is needed. The kids give them as gifts when they go to birthday parties and you can get higher dollar ones for Christmas or birthdays. Have never had a problem with them.

My kids have been wanting a gift card for Steam for a while. When I purchased it for them for Christmas they were very happy. They have enjoyed finding games they have wanted to play.

I received multiple cards in shrink wrap when I ordered one... Person who prepared the order has a few screws loose it seems. I called support, they were not able to help. Thankfully the bar code that was displayed had been activated. What a weird thing to have happen. Steam wallet card that was visible was fine though.

Easy gift for gamers so that they can choose what they enjoy rather than making a wrong choice and buying a game they may not like. Steam has so many options and games out there that any gamer would love having this to add to their steam wallet to purchase games online.
