Stellar picture quality for the money. We got this unit for outdoor movie night, and are really impressed! Pros: •keystone correction (digitally allow the unit to properly fit the screen) •picture quality •price Cons: •honestly cannot think of any, aside from manual focus. But this was such a minor point, it doesn’t matter. Overall, highly recommended! We paired this with an Elite Screens Yard Master 2, but Best Buy does not sell the rear projection screen material, so we got the screen on Amazon.

GREAT outdoor option for the price. It’s full HD and has keystone correction which others at this price point did not have. Not great in full daylight but most projectors aren’t unless you’re spending thousands $$$. Does not have Bluetooth but again, couldn’t find any at this price point with Bluetooth capabilities so there are cords required:) For outdoor set up reference, sharing my experience to maybe help others who are trying to decide if this will work! 1. You’ll need a power cord with some length and multiple plug options. Depending on the distance from power source and number of devices you plan to connect. I needed 2 (projector & cable box) but you may need 3, if utilizing a speaker that doesn’t charge while connected via 3.5mm audio cord. My JBL flip was charging while connected, bonus! Fan is pretty quiet but does put out some heat. Fan did not impede on sound from built in speaker in my opinion. 2. Connect via laptop (w/ hdmi cord), wireless cable box (w/ hdmi cord), roku/fire stick device (w/ hdmi or usb), screen mirror phone or tablet/iPad. I did screen mirror for 10-15 mins, had no lag time or freezing but can’t speak to a full movie, etc. 3. The built in speaker is surprisingly effective if you’re within 8-10 ft of projector and not a lot of people or background noise. I connected my JBL flip 5 speaker w/ a 3.5mm audio cord. My audio cord is only 6 ft. in length so I couldn’t move the speaker very far from the projector but looking into longer cord for more flexibility to move speaker as needed. With the JBL speaker connected, could easily have a group of 5-7 ppl 12-15 ft away and have clear sound. 4. You have to physically move the projector back/forward to adjust size of picture. There is not a “zoom” option. The photos I have are not full picture as I set up on my deck and couldn’t physically move projector back any farther. 5. Screen- the free screen is an easy set up anywhere really. You can use the adhesive clips included, regular thumb tacks, command hooks, etc. It has grommets on top & bottom, I only used 2 top corners for a quick hanging set up but stretched tight and level it looks as if it will work perfectly and picture will be even better. (You can see in photos it’s not pulled tight at bottom and has some ripples). For photo reference: Set up approx. 8-9ft from screen via wireless cable box- Photos range from daylight 1 & 2 (7pm), dusk 3 (8pm) and full dark 4 & 5 (9pm). Pleasantly surprised with picture at dusk & dark. Set up on deck with gazebo cover blocking direct sunlight but allows light in. Partly cloudy day. I would consider it a shaded area. From my experience thus far, I think daytime football games in the garage (with door open) will work perfectly, probably not the best in the driveway. Movie night & Sunday/Thursday night football in the backyard at dark will be a huge hit! Great budget option in my opinion!

My first projector and its awesome. Im getting speakers to attach to it and its huge fits my whole living room wall. Its cheaper then a full size tv, im just curious how long does it last daily and just lifetime in general. Anyways picture is actualky very seeable with all my house lights on and its suoer easy to set up and get going. Unfortunately the apple screen mirror lags really bad pls note.

Watching the World Series on this projector has been the highlight of the postseason! I connected our Roku using HDMI and USB for power for an all In one experience. The resolution is crystal clear and the colors are perfect! We have only used to the sound to 50% and it’s still so loud! I am wildly impressed with this budget projector

An Absolutely Fabulous Projector! Especially for the cheap price! 10x better and bigger than your average flat screen TV. I have mind hooked up to my Stereo Receiver and Blue Ray player And i got the special cable to connect the iPhone for streaming And it all works Great! This unit does it all! When i have that “extra” $1500 i might consider a 4K projector; but till then I’ll be happy watching this one!

Easy to use and easy to set up. Picture quality is incredible. Love that it came with the screen included. Definitely have enjoyed watching TV and Movies on it this summer. Would highly recommend to friends.

picture quality is great, even with a little light being in the room. my problem with this projector is how it works with some streaming devices. tried chromecast, and pressing the back or home button would completely disconnect the image from the projector. had to switch to a fire stick, where the shortcut program buttons, home button, and alexa button do the same thing. it’s annoying, but with firestick the back button works so you can exit programs. when using it with a laptop or playstation it’s fine. streaming devices just somehow interfere. airplay from an ipad or iphone is also slow and buggy, so you need a cable connection for things to be stable. i had to dye the white projector screen it came with a light grey color to improve the contrast of the image, which didn’t take long but something to consider with all white projector screens. (first photo is screen out of the box, second photo is screen after i dyed it grey with rit fabric dye)

It’s only worth having if you never have any issues. I had mine less than a year and the LCD burned. You can’t service these yourself so you pay to ship it to Vankyo and maybe they can fix it maybe not. The projector is not as bright as they lead you to believe, if you did not watch in the dark you would have issues. The keystone correction is good but still leaves the edges of the display very blurry. Video gaming is possible but there is noticeable lag in performance and if you are trying to run a long hdmi cable you will notice even more. This is an okay at best starter projector,

This is an AWESOME projector. I was able to get it to take up the majority of my living room wall... I didn't have enough room to push it further back to get it to go bigger. I was impressed that the projection can be seen in daylight (picture doesnt do it jistice) but obviously the darker the room the better. I felt like I was at a movie theater. I also bought an Amazon Fire TV Stick to plug into this. Its great! The fire stick makes all the difference. I tried the regular mirroring function but was not very impressed. Definitely get a Fire TV stick to go with this! The beginning setup was a big tricky for me, but its great once that part is over.

Projector is great:) i always wanted to have my own movie theater and this projector did not dissapoint. The image is great and i was using it on a 16 foot screen outside(192inch screen). The airplay feature works great too.

My kids broke my second tv, so I decided to get a projector. So far it’s great only thing it’s hat it heats up too much. Needed to buy a small fan to put next to it.

So far I have nothing good to say about this other then the picture display is incredible for what it will actually play. It stops there. I purchased this specific one to have less wires that I have to deal with and to be able to connect to my phone for outdoor movie nights. I have tried getting it to play videos from my phone for an entire day. Also no one from Best Buy or geek squad seems to be able to help me with it either even though we have purchased the protection support, just an endless cycle of “let me transfer you to…” over three hours of getting transferred and put on hold. I have tried connecting my phone by WiFi and by the USB and neither will play the video. Plays the sound great but as soon as the actual video starts to play the projector freezes. I have tried with our home WIFi and also my phone hot spot. Everything the video freezes on the projector end. Also no number to directly call the manufacturer. Finally ended up having to connect it directly to the DVD player.

Picture quality is good. The issue is that this projector does not work well and in most instances not at all with Hulu, Netflix, Disney+, HBOMax, STARZ, Tubi, AppleTV+ and Amazon Prime Video streaming services. The help support via Facebook message we suggested changing the Dolby sound out to whatever is available on the AppleTV which did not work. Always video and no sound. Cannot use these streaming services via screen mirroring due to legalities. Quite a waste if your main goal is for streaming services. The picture quality is good and is noticeable with a little sunlight present in the room as well (reason for two stars).

its bright and works well, but the customization of the screen size is just ok and it burns in a LOT. i have to go and get a 3rd one because of this, so im glad i got the replacement plan for it so i can just keep getting a new one, but it sucks so much that it burns in all the time.

Just incredible. Thinking about getting rid of my tv to save some space. I just love it!!

I have a room with limited space so I didn’t wanna take up wall/floor space with a bulky tv or have to worry bout damaging walls to mount one. Extremely easy to set up. Bright and vibrant which can be adjusted. Sound is crisp and clear. Video is clear with no lagging. No regrets on choosing this over a TV. Only complaint is the thick plug is in the back and I’d think most people have their projector against a wall or on a shelf. The plug makes it inconvenient to place and adjust for me.

I like how clear the resolution, and the price is not too expensive. My kids love to enjoy their favorite movies.
