Was a little bit hesitant to purchase this projector, but it has turned out to be GREAT. We’ve been using it for outdoor movie nights with friends and neighbors. Excellent picture quality as long as it is dark. The internal speakers are terrible, and are the only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars. Simple fix is a Bluetooth adaptor to external speakers. We’ve been using two Bose Soundlink Revolve speakers and sound quality has been much better than the internal speakers. You will have to purchase a separate adaptor to use an iPhone or iPad with this projector.

This projector is awesome for it's price. Comparing to a cheaper amazon projector this one is bright and it doesn't have to be pitch black dark in order to have a good picture. The controls are great and set up was a breeze. I connected a firestick and it is a perfect backyard setup for movie watching or gaming.

The picture quality on this is phenomenal for the price. The sound quality is clear and doesn't sound like static. It does NOT have a spot for a DVD player so if you want to play a disk you will have to hook it up to an Xbox or DVD player. We actually use it with my husbands Xbox to play on amazon for movies and it worked great. The set up is easy and fast.

I purchased this projector for movies on our pool deck. It was plug and play and the quality is outstanding. The quality is amazing for this very affordable projector.

It's perfect in every way, except the fan. It's so loud! If you use this outside it's probably fine, but indoors you definitely have to turn the volume way up just to get over the whirring of it. Kinda sucks, but otherwise the quality of the picture is great and pairs very easily to roku.

Purchased for my daughters birthday party and did a “drive in movie” theme. Was a huge success and the picture quality really surprised me. For the cost I am amazing how great the picture is and ease of use is top notch! We have used it multiple times for different things (even projected onto the window for Halloween and worked great).

The Vankyo projector gives a nice, bright and clear image. It's simple to operate and actually has a decent enough speaker. I plugged in a Roku stick and was surprised at how easy it was to use. I am pleased with my purchase and eager to use it for outdoor movie parties.

Excellent price to performance ratio! The brightness is plenty to even watch in a semi-lit room and the clarity is great. The edges are very slightly blurry, but it can be expected at this price. No reason to purchase the big brand names with this guy! Awesome little carrying case as well

We bought this projector to use while camping in our RV. This projector is awesome for the kids to watch their movies outside under our easy up using a screen on one side. This projector has an awesome picture and works exactly, even better, than we expected. Would definitely buy again.

It is a bright and easy to use unit. The built in speaker is pretty loud but I still got to use a separate speaker for a fuller sound. Make sure you get a word speaker add this unit isn't Bluetooth capable. Definitely a good quality for the price.

If I had paid $500 for this projector, I would have felt like I got a killer deal... But I didn't, I paid under $250... Bottom line is that this is a ridiculously great value. I had a ~$1,000 name brand projector that died of old age. Some sort of electronic fault that was going to cost way more to fix than this Vankyo projector cost. Okay, the Vankyo is a bit louder that my prior projector, and the color and contrast are now quite as good... but nothing that is really significant. and certainly not worth $750. The Vankyo has all the same basic features and capabilities at about 25% of the cost... Ridiculous!

Reasonably priced. Used it outside several times so far. Speaker is stronger than expected. Focus requires fine tuning. Standard color scheme is a little dark. Purchased it on sale. Good projector for a starter.

Great value for price. Easy operation. Using this as an outdoor projector with a 100’ screen. Also using a Roku box which works perfectly. Day use is a little harder to see, but night viewing is excellent.

Great projector for less than $200. Image quality is good and setup was easy. It may not be as bright as projectors running over $500 but it does work well in a darkened room.

Very happy with picture quality Had to purchase separately an HDMI Doggle to link cell phone. I should of spent a little more to have a projector w/ Bluetooth. Still recommended!

Good projector. Easy set up the picture is good. Power Point presentations work pretty good but not excellent. The picture quality for movies is good. Easy setup

Good for the price. This projector has a lot going for it. The picture is good quality. It is lacking in panning and angles. It is hard to always get to squared up if it is not a direct shot on the screen. Also the lumens seem to be at a middle range. If you are looking for a super bright projector, this could have a little more. Overall would still recommend. For the price you are getting a great machine.

Very good quality HD videos; big viewing size as promised; sound quality was too bad and too low. Definitely need an external speaker. Need Bluetooth feature which was missing.

Good picture quality, and even better if you get it on sale (I got it as a Best Buy "Daily Deal" for $170), but a few things to note: * The spacing between the two HDMI inputs is small. You might need to get new cables if the plastic around the end of the cable is too large. * Many streaming apps from a Chromecast and a Chromecast with Google TV (I tried both) work just fine, but Disney Plus has a horrible delay between the audio and the video. I was able to work around this by plugging an Xbox One into the projector and using the Disney Plus app on the console (there wasn't a delay with this approach). Worked well enough with for our Xbox One, Switch, and Blue-ray Player (yes, the video quality was downgraded to 1080p from the higher quality 4k outputs, but I was expecting that).

*For very dark rooms only* This is a great projector for the price if you plan on using it in a completely unlit room or at night outside. I have the picture blown up to about 5 foot by 10 foot and it still looks great. I plugged in a roku stick that I had laying around and now have a giant TV in my workout room.
