Setup was easy, updating the WebOS and downloading the apps for access to all the streaming services I have was fairly seemless once the Wifi was setup. The most nifty thing about these newer basic projectors is how good they are at auto focus and auto keystone correction. I just set it on a bookshelf and the image orientation looked great on a 120 inch screen 10 feet away. I had to really move it around and up and down quite a lot with several "bad placements" to get an image that looked weird. This is great for a basic projector that will get moved around a lot or from location to location. Easy for anyone to get useable quickly. I Inputed two video game consoles into the HD inputs and was able to switch easily from one to the other. The image looked good in a dim and dark room. With the lights on medium dim and/or some ambient light from outside, the image quickly starts to washout as you would expect with a basic projector. Still very useable for both media and gaming in basement dimness lighting. Would not be my first choice for a presentation projector due to the brightness. I would recommend as a portable/bookshelf type projector, easy for anyone to setup and use, don't need any extra devices for most all the streaming you want to do.

    Amazing picture...apps not so much

I've never been big on projectors...but...this one has changed my mind for the better. First off, it's very easy to set up. Adjusting the picture and screen size is very easy and doesn't take a tech genius to do it. It comes with the remote and the cords that you need to get everything started. You have 4 setup descriptions to choose from when setting up. We have ours set for on table towards screen, but the other options are table behind screen, ceiling towards screen, and ceiling behind screen. We didn't try these setups as they were not an option for us. Our screen is a large clear wall that is painted with satin white paint. Not sure if semi-gloss would be better or if a screen would, but we are very happy with the picture we get. The sound was decent as well...not the same as having it hooked up to a sound bar but it does it's job and is clear. The carrying case is a nice addition so you can move or just store if if you want to. Probably the only frustration we have with it and the reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the apps. It comes loaded with apps like Netflix, Prime Video, and Disney. The problem is we can seem to get the apps to load where we can use them. We gave up and started using our firestick and have had no issues since.

Easy portable Projector for movie night

I picked this up for movie nights with friends and family, I thought it would be cool to have a portable one so we could watch inside or outside at night. This has worked well for the movie nights we have had so far, though once I got a projector screen instead of just projecting on the wall the quality is much improved. You can get projector screen for surprisingly cheap these days so its well worth it IMO. While the 680 lumens is certainly more than enough in the right setting this wont replace your LED TV in your den with all the windows. This projector is easy to set up with its auto-focus mode so moving it from inside to outside is as easy as I would have hoped it to be. While its nice it has speakers, and the sound quality is fine, it just lacks the oomph you would want for certain content. For that you can either run the HDMI cable through your soundbar/receiver of course, it also has a 3.5mm jack for output to external speakers, it did not seem to have ARC or if it does I didn't get it to work. Built in apps work just fine and 1080P is good as long as you don't go too crazy big with your screen size. Overall a really solid little projector for what i'm using it for, i'm happy.

I absolutely love this Vankyo Performance V700 Pro Native 1080P Wireless Smart WebOS Single LCD Portable Projector in Gray. The picture it projects to my 80” screen is clear and vibrant. The sound is also great. No other speakers are necessary. In the box: projector, remote control, HDMI cable, power cable, instruction manual and carrying case. Setup: Setup was actually easier than I expected. Once you plug in the projector, the instructions come up on your screen to pair the remote. After pairing the remote, you can access the menu to set up the rest of the settings you choose. You will choose the time zone, auto focus or manual focus, it has auto keystone adjustment, so those settings don’t have to be adjusted at all. You can choose to manually set them if you choose, but there isn’t a need. Pros: -Dolby Audio and built in 8W Speakers that sound great -Great picture -Vivid colors -High clarity -Lightweight only 5 lbs -Compact and has carrying case Cons -It gets kind of noisy, but I got used to it -it doesn’t have adjustable legs

Great Color and Brightness, Auto Focus/Keystone

The Vankyo Performance V700 Pro has great features, image quality, and is brighter than I expected for 550 ISO Lumens! Design At first glance it looks like a typical projector. When you look closer and turn it on it sort of comes to life. You see lights come on, on the top, for the different capacitive touch buttons that you wouldn't see otherwise. These buttons are easy to see and work very well, like you're touching your phone screen. They do go off after a bit. I actually don't use them much because the remote is usually more convenient for me. It has a foot in the front middle that you spin to adjust the height of the front, changing the throw angle. It works fine but isn't anything special. There are two HDMI ports, a USB Type A port, and a headphone/stereo out 1/8" jack. It comes with a remote (requires two AAA batteries, not included) that has the controls including focus, volume up and down, back, d-pad with a middle button for select/enter, power, home, settings, and buttons for different services like Netflix and YouTube. There's also an air filter on the one side that's easy to remove and clean. Image quality I am very impressed by the image quality and brightness of the Performance V700 Pro! Motion is smooth, colors are rich, and skin tones look natural. The brightness is excellent too, brighter than I expected! I also think the color and the brightness is very uniform to the edges and corners - though when I turned it on some of the edges seemed brighter. When I get an image on the screen, it looks great! I have a screen I projected on and the picture looked great on there, especially with lights off. But even with a fair amount of light in the room the picture still looked great, bright with rich color. I also tried projecting on an off-white, more like a mocha, colored wall, and even on that the picture looked very good - with whites being very white and colors being bright and vibrant! That was much better than I expected. Still, as with any projector, you really want to use a screen or paint made to be used with a projector for best results. It really looked good on the screen and I was impressed, with 550 lumens, how the picture was bright even to the edges when I was projecting a 110" diagonal on my screen. It could definitely go much larger, as advertised. I didn't have a screen, room, or good surface large enough to test it at the max of rated size of a 200" diagonal. Setup The setup process is very quick and easy for two main reasons, I think. 1. The auto focus and auto keystone correction work very well. 2. The WebOS setup is very simple and quick. Also, there were no updates to download and install when I set it up. I even went in the settings and checked for updates manually and there were none. It was really ready to go out of the box with very minimal setup time or effort. You also have great mounting/positioning options that can be easily selected from on-screen options that show pictures of each type of setup: 1. Right-side-up (standard) front projection 2. Upside-down (ceiling mount) front projection 3. Right-side-up (standard) back projection 4. Upside-down (ceiling mount) back projection WebOS Smart TV Functions As I mentioned, the remote works well. The buttons on the remote have a good feel and work well. And by that I mean the presses have a good feel to them and the response on screen is very fast. I do wish the "back" button was near the edge or in a corner. It's between volume up and down. That's just personal preference though. It works fine. It's a fairly clean and simple on-screen interface. There doesn't seem to be a way to adjust the on-screen icon layout so you have a large icon for NetFlix and some other, smaller, icons to launch things like YouTube and a few other services. There are some additional apps for other services you can install. Thankfully it's not full of ads, in fact I haven't seen any. You can go into another menu with some additional options like Settings, apps for casting, and the Bluetooth speaker mode. The Smart TV interface is very responsive and the apps that I tried, mostly YouTube, worked very well, loading videos quickly and playing audio and video smoothly. This is actually one of the better/faster Smart TV experiences I've seen. Casting It supports Miracast (used for Windows Wireless Display and screen mirroring from some other devices as well) as well as some Google casting. It was able to cast Google Music and YouTube. It warns that some services will not be able to cast to it, so keep that in mind. It didn't work for me from Google Photos. There is an app to go into for each type of casting, either Miracast or Google/Chrome Cast. They also have an app to install on iOS for you to cast to it from an iPhone. The Windows Wireless Display from my laptop running Windows 11 works very well. I was able to mirror my laptop display and then set it to use the projector as the only display, running at the native 1920x1080 resolution. Still, the connection was great for audio and video playback and just running Windows applications. I used it for some gaming too - you'll want to use HDMI for that since latency hurts gaming performance if you cast. I actually used it for movie watching and totally forgot I was actually using a Windows Wireless Display. Built-in Audio The quality of the built-in speakers is pretty good for a projector. Two 8-watt speakers and Dolby do give you better sound than most projectors that I've used. The Dolby audio is fuller and richer than I would expect from a projector and the sound is pretty good. It did sound a little tinny to me at times but again, overall it was very good for a projector. I was surprised when I ran some Dolby tests on it. The sound did have more depth to it then I expected. The sound field felt larger than I expected from this projector. The positional audio wasn't perfect but I could hear objects moving around and it was better than I thought it might be with the speakers in the projector. Bluetooth Speaker Mode To go along with the enhanced built-in audio, there is a Bluetooth Speaker mode. I tested this and it worked well. It was odd in that when I connected, I was asked to make sure the number shown on my laptop matched the one on the projector, but the projector didn't display a number. I was able to just click "Connect" and it worked. As I mentioned above, I was pleasantly surprised with the audio, considering this is a projector. It's better sound than I've heard from any laptop. Summary I love the image quality, smooth motion, and brightness! Maybe even more than that I love how well the auto keystone correction and auto focus work. I also love the way the response in the WebOS Smart TV interface is very fast. The speakers are very good for a projector too - though don't expect a lot of bass, still great for a projector, and I love that there are no adds, other than services I'm not subscribed to. If I'm being very picky, I don't like spinning the foot on the bottom to adjust the height of the front (throw angle), it would be nice if there was an easy way to re-order the apps on the home screen or remove ones you don't want (maybe I didn't find it). I also would like the back button positioned differently but I got used to it fast. None of those minor complaints are reasons I would not buy this projector. The Vankyo Performance V700 Pro is not only a great value but an excellent five star projector!

Portable-Ish, Nice But.. could be better

Now days, everyone basically needs a projector in their stack of electronics. From the backyard, to the presentation, to the larger room... and their cost has come way down, which makes it very practical. So let's get into it: This is touted as a portable theater, which it is. It is lightweight, and can be brought anywhere. However, out of the box... a few things, that led to a .25 star drop - No carrying bag. Almost every projector I have purchased in the last 10 years, came with a simple bag, especially when advertised as portable - BULKY power brick. So you need to find a spot for that power brick, rather then just a cord. Also it is a custom power brick, not using a USB-C connector, so if you lose that brick or forget it.... you may be done with the projector - Seems silly, but the cap for the lease, will not stay in the projector, falls out with the simplest of movement, and isn't attached. I will be getting a simple Camera lens mount, so I can attach this cap to the projector - Then you have the remote and the HDMI cable, which if you are bringing it somewhere, with no bag, you need something for that. Next .25 star down... It has standard 4 modes (Front, Reverse, Front Ceiling, Reverse Ceiling), that is good. Even shows it in the manual. BUT, I can't see any mounting screw holes in the bottom of the project. You would need a full 3rd party mounting kit, rather just a standard mounting solution. I can't seem to locate (didn't look deeply), for an add-on mount. Plus in that configuration, that power brick is going to be an issue. Built in software, okay, this is a bonus (mostly), having built in support for Youtube and Netflix is good. So you can play just about anything on them.. haven't found anything I couldn't play yet. BUT, this is just YouTube, not YouTubeTv (which are two separate apps)... and didn't see YouTubeTV as an option to download. So these options are good, if you have a strong WiFi connection, or you can use your phone as a hotspot (say if you are in a park or campground)... The manual warns about Casting other apps, and protections they may have. For example the manual lists D+ and Hulu as possibly having issues. I didn't have any, but before you go anywhere, check what you want to play. And have a backup plan to play via connected cable instead of casting. The casting support is Great, provided the projector and the phone (android and iPhone are supported), are on the same network. In many situations, outside your home that may not be an option. I was also able to cast from my iPad and MacBook, so that works. Audio Support: I didn't try the 3.5mm jack, I just don't have any of those devices anymore. but connecting an external Bluetooth speaker was super easy, and worked well. Great for those video presentations (that I did via a USB Stick). the internal speaker that comes with it is tiny.. not loud at all. While you can play audio through it, I would recommend you don't. Spend a few dollars on a small bluetooth speaker (or go bigger), to get better supported sound. I did find it odd in the manual, that it recommends NOT to use Excel, Powerpoint, Word... presentation desktop software. I can't see any reason why not to, and they did work via a connected laptop. Okay, now for picture quality: It is good, for the size of the projector. it isn't large or bright enough to offset a full room of light, or outdoors... Haven't yet seen a project of this size, in this price range that could ,so that isn't surprising. But it is bright enough that the room doesn't have to be in total darkness, and ambient light from windows, won't really impact it. The 1080P support is nice, as I can get a really clear image from Netflix and other sources at that level (only tested movies through Netflix). Crisp images from my laptop and the casting I did as well. All the standard adjustment are there (keystone, edge adjustment). I tried to test out the Autofocus, and for the most part it seemed to work well.. .image was always clear. So overall, solid projector.. but just missed on a few things

A very nice projector with one drawback

With its ease of use, sharp image quality, and remarkable brightness, the Vankyo Performance V700 is a really nice projector. While described as a portable projector, its five-pound weight and physical dimensions seem pretty average as modern projectors go. It’s simple enough to move around the house, but not something you’re going to toss into your backpack to take on vacation. If you’re looking for portability, you might want to look smaller. Otherwise, read on. Setup was a breeze thanks to the on-screen menu. Selecting things like orientation (front / rear, upside down / right-side up), WiFi connection, and the services you want to stream directly, you can be up and running in minutes. (All of these things can be changed later through the menu as well, so you’re not stuck with your answers.) About those services – one of the handy things about this projector is that, like many contemporary TVs, it has built-in apps for standard streaming services, like YouTube and Netflix. This means you can connect directly to your providers without worrying about setting up a separate source, like a laptop. The streaming worked well, with no lags or drops. If (like me) you still prefer to broadcast from a single source, you can connect the V700 to your source device wirelessly or through a standard HDMI connection. The wireless connection was generally good. Although I did notice an occasional stutter, it was not clear if this was the projector or a network issue. HDMI is, of course, the most reliable setup option, but not necessarily the one you want to use, as you’ll likely want to set this up away from your seating area for noise control. Fan noise is one of the few downsides of the V700, as the cooling fan is rather loud. This is very noticeable during quiet passages, particularly if you’re using it as a table-top projector (therefore close to the viewers). The image quality is excellent. My screen is “only” 72”, but up to this size the 1080p full HD images look crisp. (Vankyo claims to support up to 200” images with this projector, but this was not a claim that I could validate.) There was no noticeable issue with transitions, and the blacks appeared deep enough for good contrast. The V700 was also surprisingly bright. Even with the sunshine of a Los Angeles living room coming through the windows, images were very easy to see. Sound is another issue. Yes, the V700 has speakers built in and they support Dolby. But it doesn’t say which Dolby standard (certainly not Atmos), and they are too small for a full cinema experience. Plus, it sounds odd to have the image in front of you but the sound next to or above and behind you. In other words, you’ll almost certainly not want to give up your home theater sound system, whatever that might be. Overall, this is a very nice home theater projector at a very reasonable price. If you have the right setup option available where you can mitigate the fan noise, I would recommend this unit.

SO many great features and the quality of this projector is great!! The projector's auto-focus is outstanding. It is by far one of my favorite features. Imagine all the time and frustration saved by auto-focus correcting almost instantly every time you move the projector because you can't decide where you think you will land on a particular wall. I generally move around different rooms and choose different walls until I finally decide where it's best to view comfort wise from where the viewers will be positioned. The view is sharp and much appreciated. The speaker can be used stand alone once you connect to it via blue-tooth. It does not disappoint. Amazing speaker quality sound. Listening to concerts via YouTube felt like the artist was in the room. Honestly, it is that good. You may need to be on a certain side of the projector to have these results. I was situated on the side of the projector as I was watching and listening to a live performance. Wow! The remote gives access to Netflix, YouTube, PrimeVideo and also has an "open browser" button. The remote also has an F+ and an F- button so that in case you need to fine tune the focus more, it can easily be done with your remote in hand. The remote also allows you to easily shift from blue tooth, to wifi, to screen cast and more. Screen cast needs to be selected in order for your blue tooth ready device to project onto the screen. Once you connect your blue-tooth device (phone) after making it discoverable and pairing it, it may continue to seem like it's not done with pairing but head over using the menu on the remote to screen cast and you'll have your phone screen up on the projected area being showcased. The unit comes with a lens cover to protect from dust and scratches. There are also touch buttons on the top of the device to power it up and for many other functions as you would find on the remote. The unit doesn't heat up surprisingly as much as I thought it would. It seems to be a normal amount of heat for such a device. Also, you may find there's an odor being emitted from the projector itself during the first uses but that soon dissipates as it's a normal odor from components heating up when first using a product. The unit is quiet and very responsive to changes from one APP to another in viewing different shows/movies/concerts, etc. The projector is not heavy and has a long enough charging cord to be able to place it in different locations. The projector has ports so you can directly connect your computer and devices. The blue tooth quality depends solely on the strength of you signal. Poor signal, poor projecting as far as connectivity. I've tried in both environments and saw a dramatic difference in the connectivity and the enjoyment of the projector. so ensure you have a good signal strength if you are going to use it wirelessly, especially for an important meeting or presentation. I would absolutely recommend this projector as an upgrade or to anyone new to buying a projector.

The technology on projectors has definitely improved over the years. On this particular unit, the projection auto-focuses and also automatically sets the keystone when you turn it on. These functions can be manually adjusted as well, though, which is important because I found that there are instances where it did not run the auto setup after the unit was moved. There is no manual focus or zoom... Everything is done through the remote or the on-screen menu (which can be problematic if the picture is not focused as there is no way to see what is on the on-screen menu). With that being said, setup was a breeze. Just point it at a screen or blank wall and turn it on. It pretty much does everything on its own and prompts you where needed. The unit includes an HDMI cable, which is convenient. Ironically, though, the remote control does not include any batteries (2 AAA required). The unit claims to have dolby digital sound, but I found it to be "tinny" and "empty." On the flip side, though, the speakers are pretty loud and can fill a room. (I have used other units where the speakers on my laptop were better than using the speakers on the projector. That is not really a problem here, although the speakers on the unit are definitely no replacement for a dedicated soundbar or other speaker system. The unit claims to be able to accommodate up to 200" projection, I believe I saw. When projecting on to a 120" screen, however, the bulb was just not powerful enough in an average living room. When using this projector, make sure it is in a dark room or the screen is relatively close to the screen. The fan on the unit is somewhat loud, which could be distracting in a quiet environment. Adjusting the height uses a screw mechanism that will unscrew completely from the unit, if you unscrew it too far. There are two HDMI inputs. Another nice feature is that you can screencast to the unit and there is the ability to run some popular apps on it, but not as many as I would have wanted (such as the app for my TV provider). The unit itself is rather light and is not too large, making it a good portable solution. There are not a lot of directions. The built-in menu system is intuitive, however, so not too bad. You can also set the location to below the screen, above the screen, or behind the screen. Resolution is limited to 1080p (not 4K). The directions also state that it is not best for presentations (like PowerPoints), which would seem to be a much better use for this unit. Ultimately, this is a good portable unit that works better in a dark environment. I would not consider this to be a television replacement for a home theater, though, give the lack of brightness at longer distances (and larger screens). Again, the speaker is pretty powerful, but is also no replacement for an audio system (with a subwoofer). If you are looking for a home theater projector, I would probably keep looking elsewhere.

Much More than the Old School Type Projectors

Modern projectors are so much more advanced than the ones I'm familiar with from my school and college days, or from work place meetings. I have experience using other brands of home projectors, and comparing this Vankyo V700 Pro projector, there are several key features this Vankyo has which surpasses those other brands'. Firstly, getting the projector setup and connected to my home WiFi network, was a quick and seamless procedure. Included with the device is both a Quick Start Guide and more in-depth User Manual. Both are really detailed and helpful. Another improved feature of this Vankyo, is the 'easy-to-navigate' settings menus. All you need is arranged in an organized way, and the remote control is very responsive. In addition, this projector isn't too heavy; it weighs 5 lbs, and seems rather compact for the type of device this is. As for heat output, again, compared to my previous experiences with these kinds of home projectors, the heat being put out from the side venting, was actually much less than I'd have expected. However, do remember to make sure there is adequate airflow all around the unit. While batteries for the remote are not included, the projector does come with an HDMI cord for use connecting the projector to a laptop, or other device. Although I've not tried this yet, I was able to connect one of my other projectors to my gaming system, so will be testing this out to see if that will work with this Vankyo. It was uber fun seeing my game projected onto the living room wall. Good times! Thinking ahead, even before receiving this Vankyo projector, we bought a portable screen and stand to go along with it. Picture quality using the screen was different - more clear and bright - than how the video looked on my living room wall, or on the exterior wall of my house in the backyard. Though if you don't have a screen, that setup could conceivably be sufficient. While the sound quality was adequate, I kinda expected more performance from the Dolby audio, dual 8-watt "surround sound" speakers. But you do have the option to connect a Bluetooth speaker to the projector, as well. What kinda put me off a bit, was that you aren't able to mirror or cast Hulu and Disney+ to the device due to supposed "copyright restrictions." Yet, you can Amazon Prime Video, Netflix, and YouTube, which also have 'copyrighted material?' *For best results, do read through the User Manual and pay attention on how to setup your projector's proper distance from the viewing surface. Overall, I'm pleased with my new Vankyo V700 Pro projector. And as spring approaches, I'm quite looking forward to enjoy watching horror movies in my backyard next to our cozy firepit.

Not portable per-se, but still a good projector

So, they label this as a "portable" projector, but there isn't really anything notably more portable about this over any other projector in this class. It's still the same size as your average projector, and doesn't boast any features to make it any easier to take on the road over any other projector. The light is powered by LEDs, which does make it slightly more portable than your typical Metal-halide bulb. The LEDs also run significantly cooler, lighter and more robust than a projector bulb, so those traits make it easier to move around, but that's about it. Besides that point of confusion, it is a pretty decent projector. The image is bright and sharp, and it has auto-focus and keystone, and basically has zero warm up time. It senses when you move the projector, and will display a couple alignment images that a camera on the front looks at to determine how to adjust the focus and geometry of the picture. It has a small foot that you can unscrew to prop it up a bit at the front. It doesn't have a lot of travel, and the image is projected basically right in front of the projector, so I found myself still propping the front of the projector with other objects. The top of the projector features capacitive touch controls, but I found them to be pretty unresponsive (e.g. I had to touch each button twice before it seemed to register). So, they work in a pinch, but the remote works much better. The software appears to be a variant of Android, and they include the "netrange" app store, which is a generic app store for Linux and Android based smart-things. So, it may not have all the apps you expect, but it at least supports Chromecast, so you can cast whatever you need to it. Overall, it's a pretty good LED projector, with good brightness and image quality, and it sounds pretty good too (it has a fan to keep cool, but it's barely noticeable).

    Decent projector with awful software.

This otherwise good Projector is unfortunately held back by its mediocre software experience. It's major selling points are it's Native 1080P projection and built in 'smart' feature set. I was going in expecting a relatively generic android TV kind of software with some Vankyo brand labeling on some preinstalled apps, and maybe a few of their media apps preinstalled. It is kind of that, but it really struggles. I tried logging into my Netflix but it refused to connect to netflix for me to even put my credentials in, So I opted to test out youtube playback. And despite having a strong Wifi signal, no other people streaming on the network, and no issues with my internet, It took about 3 minutes to load a video, and then it would drop the quality to 300p and endlessly buffer after about 10 seconds of playback. Connecting external sources is going to be the way to go here unless Vankyo pushes an update to solve whatever software problems is preventing this from running even half way decently on it's own installed software. Thankfully, I didn't have any issues with general setup and use for external devices, 1080P playback looked clean, was bright enough even in dimly lit room, I think this is going to end up mainly being used for parties, and presentations. Unless the software gets significantly better, I cannot recommend this one.

The projector was a little larger than I had expected but is not too big or bulky. Setup is extremely easy. All you have to do is plug it in, remove the lens protector and connect it to Wi-Fi to begin streaming from major outlets right away. Adjusting the focus is the easiest I have seen in a projector. There are two buttons on the remote that allow you to fine tune the focus and it self-adjusts anytime the projector is moved. You can zoom to 50% for smaller size screens and you can zoom out easily for larger screen or wall spaces. There is an adjustable foot on the bottom that can be used to adjust the angle for best viewing. The picture quality is excellent even in a high light area. The sound is excellent, and I wasn't expecting such quality from the unit itself. It fills the room with surrounding sound that complements the picture quality. There is a limited amount of pre-loaded streaming applications, but you have many of the major ones such as Netflix and Hulu included in their library. You have the option of connecting a Firestick and using it to steam as well. I have the unit projecting on a wall, and I have really enjoyed watching movies and feeling like I'm actually at the theater. This unit is an excellent value for the ease of setup, quality of picture and immersive sound.

I've been looking for a versatile projector for my living room and I have been incredibly impressed with it so far. The brightness and clarity of the visuals were excellent. I was pleasantly surprised by the fact that the projector could easily be adjusted to provide the correct angle and focus for the projected image. The colors and shades of the image were vivid and crystal clear. The contrast between dark and bright scenes was excellent. The multiple connectivity options offer superior flexibility and they include HDMI, AV, USB, and other ports. I have tried to connect to my Google TV box, the setup was straightforward as well. The connection is stable with no lags during our movie and drama session. Using a projector to watch a movie or drama can be an incredibly satisfying experience. Seeing everything so large feels like you're in a completely different world! The projector was easy to set up and ran smoothly without any problems. The picture quality was excellent and the overall sound quality was great. Everyone had a great time. All in all, the product has exceeded my expectations. Highly recommended!

The VANKYO Performance V7-- Pro is a portable 1080P Native projector that is compact yet powerful. Lets make no mistake here this isn't meant to be the crown jewel of your living room, rather a nice setup that can be taken down or moved around etc. My current home theater setup features a short throw 4K laser projector, so Ill be using the 120" screen and then testing in the office and outdoors for its multi purpose role. 1. Inside on a wall mounted screen I measured roughly 550 lumens which aligned with the advertised lumens. The throw range was a 1:3:1 ratio this means at a throw ratio of 1:30 and an aspect of 16:19 to fit on my 120" screen it needed to be 11"4" back to project the image correctly. This is where I found a small issue as the brightness was weaker at 120" during the daylight. But when I used blackouts on the windows the brightness was more vivid and had the max brightness. I did test many lengths and found that 85" was the perfect screen size to accommodate the max brightness during any situation and light setting. At night time the same distance was needed for the larger outdoor screen, but under the pool patio against the white wall the light absorb and vivid images were displayed. In the office setting hanging from the ceiling and projected onto the pull down screen work perfectly and found this to be its best usage scenario. Conclusion, This small yet compact projector can handle a lot of tasks including the included Netflix and connected apps which make watching shows on the fly easy, but ensure you have space and distance.

The Vankyo - V700 Neo is a great all around budget smart projector that won’t break your bank. Let me begin with saying you can spend thousands on a top of the line projector with all the bells and whistles. While the Vankyo V700 is the total opposite it still delivers what most of us are looking for these days. It’s budget priced, compact, has integrated audio and you can stream wirelessly. That in my book is pretty much everything you need. The V700 delivers 1080P resolution and provides 400 lumens of brightness which is plenty for casual moving watching and even some decent gaming. Though I wouldn’t play anything competitive due to lag. It operates on Google TV and as far as ports go you have 1 HDMI & 1 composite video connection along with Bluetooth and WiFi. Set up was a breeze. All I had to do was connect the Vankyo V700 to my WiFi and login to my streaming platforms and was all set to start enjoying my favorite content. Next game day I’m setting up the Vankyo V700 in the backyard and inviting my buddies over to watch.

Amazing - your own home theater! A++

A game-changer for anyone looking to bring the theater experience home! Overall resolution and brightness is impressive and on par with projectors 3x the cost, and a great investment as just one trip to the movies these days with a family of four is easily $100 or more. The convenience of a theater experience at home, but being able to pause, order food in or make dinner with family and friends without a hiccup is amazing! The smart app capabilities is a big bonus, we've had to use a variety of Roku and Chrome Smart devices to get access to all of our apps on our other projectors in the past and all the extra cords dangling everywhere drives me nuts, so it's nice not to have to worry about it! Definitely recommended!! A++

The Vankyo V700 Pro is an impressive and cost affective device to purchase if you are setting up a home theater. It was a breeze to setup. I have tested multiple Vankyo projectors and like all of them, but the V700 Pro is far above the rest in clarity snd brightness. I highly recommend this device. I’m sure you wont be disappointed.
