The Vantop dash has great video quality and is easy to install. The dash cam has many features and it also has a gps sensor, with this many features at a great price it makes it easy to choose. The camera does record both front and rear video at the same time. The system also has- 4k front and 1080P rear camera GPS tracks route and speed Rear view mirror is touch screen Waterproof rear camera with super night vision Voice controls parking mode There is a few cons with the dash cam which is dependent on the vehicle its being installed on. I installed this on a Mazda Miata which is convertible and when the top is down the camera's picture does not show well if theres any sun or headlight glare on the rear view mirror. Also another minor con for me is that the camera didn't come with a hardwire kit because I wanted a nice clean look without having any wires showing in the car's cabin. I also needed to purchase a license plate rear camera holder for easier and clean installation. But it is available for an extra cost just like the hardwire kit. Like I said this is a great dash cam for the money and the cons are very debatable depending on the customer needs.

Had been looking at Vantop for months as an option. My existing rearview camera was getting weak. The HF12L is an upgrade by adding the front camera which I've wanted for years. GPS is practically hidden. Features are few, but they all work very well. Only negatives. There is a glare on the mirror and sometimes you can see the camera and mirror pictures superimposed like old film developing. The mirror is large but it's in my F150 with a big windshield and mirror anyway so that's good. Trouble is you cannot control the rear camera direction like you would a mirror. Also, rain or dew gets on the camera making it blurred. Total Tech installed for FREE so that was worth most of the yearly fee. I thought about returning it, but for the same price as a new camera, I got a dashcam!

Converted rear view cam for front bumper cam and still keep dash cam , pictures so clear with 4k, do what i need it to do, only bug me is the view will right side left if you install rear cam for front bumper cam like me

The battery died and wouldn’t recharge within a week. Charging in my home didn’t work either. This is the second camera from Vantop I owned that failed and it did so the exact same way.

After a couple a weeks the screen came off. And I tried to attach it together again but it kept falling. I attach a picture of the problem.

I purchased the Dash Cam to record front and rear images while driving on the highway. So far the performance has been good. I would like to give a rating of excellent but there is a few bugs in the system that causes error messages to pop up. One of them is a message that the dash cam needs charged when the power meter shows full and it is directly hooked up to auto charging. Another issue is that the screen freezes way to often even after following steps to correct the problem. Some software updates are needed to fix the issues.

Very professionally packaged product, comes with all the necessary wires to connect. I have been using the HF612 mirror for about a year. Overall the picture quality is exceptional and the video transmission does not have any delay. I use this mirror in lieu of my original Audi mirror since I have tinted windows and viewing before was virtually impossible, especially at night. With the Vantop HF612L that all changed. Once installed I am able to view cars clearly in a panoramic 170° front cam and 160° rear cam. Super clear and even allow you to see better at dusk with camera. You can simply swipe the mirror with your finger to change the view from rear to front or to display both front and back. The display takes up the entire mirror so you don't have a gap between the frame of mirror and the image for a OEM look. Includes an optional GPS sensor to track your route that you can later download from a Micro SD card and view your route on a map next to the actual video. The HF612 mirror also serves as a cam to record any events in case you are in an accident. The G sensor which records events if a sudden bump is detected however, is a little too sensitive and probably records more events that will not be overwritten then I would prefer even though I have it set to the lowest setting. I also purchased their optional wiring kit so that the power automatically engages mirror when you turn on your car and turns off mirror when you turn off your car. Otherwise you can use the supplied wiring harness that connects to your cigarette lighter outlet. Overall the Vantop HF612L mirror is well constructed and well worth the price, and I would definitely recommend.

This dashcam is awesome!! Fairly easy install. Plenty of wire to install the rear-view camera, even on a Chevy Silverado 2500HD long-bed. The mirror is touch-screen and super easy to use and setup. You can run the mirror display "off", rear-view video, front-view video, or both front & rear. The picture quality is very good for the price point. Caught a rollover accident on the camera a few weeks ago and uploaded it to the computer and everyone was surprised at the quality of the video. Highly recommend.

My Vantop - HF612L 12” 4K UHD Front and Rear Mirror Dash Cam with Built-in GPS and Voice Control worked great for 12 months. Now it has sound but no picture. Where can I send for repair or replacement.

I installed my old car. It works perfectly fine. I like the Vantop. It records well. There is also a little AI option for voice control.

I bought this as a combo dashcam/backup cam for my 2012 jeep wrangler, which did not come with a backup cam. This was much cheaper than the quotes I got to install a backup cam and connect it to my central display and add a dashcam. I am very happy with the recorded picture quality, I normally drive with the screen turned off, becuse during the daytime even when it is on you can also see the natural reflection in the mirror, and at night the headlights behind you dorwn out the image. Even when the screen is off, if you put the car into reverse it will come back on with the backup lines, which is a nice touch. However the rear view camera is not ideal as a backup camera because it is so high.

This backup camera has been life changing since installing it in my Toyota FJ Cruiser. I'd driven without a backup camera since 2014 without any issues (aside from once backing into a curbed shopping cart). Going into it, I'd imagined it'd give me peace of mind backing up and that was about it. What I didn't imagine is how much more effective it'd be than a traditional rear view mirror. The picture on both the front and rear view cams are great, which gives me hope that if I ever need it to document an event, it will. As for the install, the service I received from the Modesto, CA Best Buy team was amazing. Definitely recommend!

This is the perfect product for bigger vehicles. I have a 1992 Dodge B250 full-sized van, and do a fair amount of highway driving with occasional towing. The full screen rear view image offers a far wider and more detailed view over the standard rearview mirror, and it's recording the entire time. This is my third Vantop HF612, with one in my '05 Corvette as well, and they have easily paid for themselves. The controls are easy to understand, and set up goes fairly smooth. The video images are good and there are features that allow for enhanced viewing on a computer too. My one issue is there is no setting for daylight savings time, so you need to adjust the time zone setting. It seems the the date and time get overridden by the GPS (as near as I can tell), because it kept resetting the time until I adjusted the time zone.

The install itself is pretty sumple could be done within an hour if ya know what youre doing. As far as the product it works as advertised only down side is the back up camera at night is beyond bad its mostly pixels and super bright lights with poor visuals.

I have a Jeep wrangler and I can’t see a thing out the back windows, but now with the rear camera i have a constant live feed out the back. It’s a game changer to not have to thriple check everytime I change lanes.

Works just as intended, absolutely love this product. Also, the installation is easier than ever! Pretty much a plug & go product! Resolution, quality, and seamless usability. You would have thought that Apple made this!

Awesome! Able to have rear camera constantly on so the video in the mirror is just like a regular mirror (only millisecond delay). Front camera can have video in mirror or dual camera as well. Great option to a separate dash cam and mirror.
