Hard to reach Vantop. No website or phone number

The product works fine, while it works. After 9 months, it starts turning off after a few minutes. I thought it was isolated problem and received a 2nd one. Trying another brand.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you. Please follow these steps to troubleshoot.
1. Confirm if the power supply of the car charger is always on. Plug it into the cigarette lighter. The light will flash if the supply is poor.
2. Take out of the SD card and unplug the power cable. Then take the dashcam indoors and charge it with a 5V/3A adapter and a MINI USB cable for an hour to see if it can be turned on.
3. Use a pin to reset the device directly. The reset hole is behind the camera. Then please enter Settings, choose factory settings to set the device to default.
4. Unplug the rear camera kit to see if the front camera works well.
Also, please check the USB port and the charging port, is there anything unusual?

Ended up going with this just because I'd rather not waste battery on my phone for GPS usage, the 4k quality is a nice addition though. Lastly, if you don't want to have cables all around your car, be prepared to take some extra time to install this, or pay someone else to do it.

I installed this on my pickup truck and the front and review cameras are a must have. Record while you are driving just in case you get into an accident. Love the split screen view as well. Automatically switches to full rear view when you put your vehicle in reverse

Started Good, Went Down hill fast and then died

It worked well at first. Then, one of them couldn’t read the same microSD card it has been reading for months. We had to take the chip in and out many times before it could start recording. It eventually started working fine after months of this. The GPS unit in mine only worked about 10% of the time and then stopped working completely after a few months. Then, mine completely died after less than a year. I liked the front camera image quality and the controls were pretty good. Replacing it with a more expensive model with better track record.

Regarding your issue, would you please follow the steps below to solve the problems first?
1. Did you use a new card? If convenient, please send us a pic of the SD card, then we could check their specification. It’s suggested to use a SD card up to 128 G above class 10, and some compatible brands such as SanDisk, Samsung, etc..
2. There are two steps to format the SD card before using it. Please try to format the SD card to FAT32 on the computer, then insert the card into the camera and enter Settings to format it again.

One warning is the backup camera is NOT water resistant. The first rain and the lens fogged over on the inside. I will try and seal it myself. Otherwise happy with the system.
